Ea wanted players to get hooked on recolors so they basically sucked everyone off 2 free packs base price crafting metals 400 and 1200 Higher quality recolors that changed stuff rather than just the color. Revenant recolor event was dog shit and was double priced, And now octane recolor is just color changes and double priced They really had to sale the wrath recolor because that same year recolor peacekeeper happened and that was a disaster
Might have gotten the heirloom then, now tho ain't no way I'm paying full price for 24 shitty recolored skins. Genuinely don't like a single skin, only wanted the heirloom because it's on Octane.
i hate how the ranking system still isnt very good. Im getting predators and super sweaty people in my plat lobbies. I have almost 6k kills across my whole account and they have 10-20k at least on the one legend
This event is 100% recolours, recolours of bad skins and the recolours have shit colours, no half price, no free event packs, not even a free pack. Worst event, maybe ever.
Grrt, fuse has a changed voice lines I believe he used to say when the ring closes "last one in owes me a 6 pack" or 12 pack idk but now he says "last one in owes me a slab" or slap
Servers still crash lol just happened to me. If people spend the money they wont fix their prices. This has always been part of this game nobody can control it but them.
i was so surprised to play catalyst because the only vid of her i saw before release was with the tower ability and a diff tact looked better than what we ended up with ngl
Def not buying anything from the event, the heirloom looks nice in the dark and the finisher is dope but I don’t use octane and the collection event might be the worst thing ever lol

Nah nah that whole slow character selection screen needs to GOOO. It’s outdated and slow af. No more special skin animations in character select it needs to go.
This collection event is one of the worst in a long while. The heirloom isn't enough to make me want to get everything and to make it worse the skins in the event are also terrible. I'm a collector when it comes to this game and there is close to nothing I don't have but this event will add to the few items I don't have. This event should 100% have been half price. I will say the LTM has been fun so far but still falls a little short for me. All in all a very low end event in my opinion.
even if stuff was half priced i wouldnt buy it, its just not good looking at all the original versions of these skins looked WAAAY better and i also have like half of them, i can only see octane mains buying this even for heirloom and thats it, just boring lazy recolor with questionable choice of colors, and event ltm is boring as hell but at least not annoying like that op sword bs
The game has lost all potential all the debuff all the stupid abilities and rules it tune the game bring normal stuff even a version of season sixteen will be good everyone will be good again
not buying shit from this event. all recolors, all mediocre, and a worse the first heirloom recolor that looks worse than the original. a swing and a miss from apex.
Just to let you know, there is kind of a broken glitch this season effecting wraiths portal where it allows you to pull out your gun whilst still using the portal
