fun story about this track, if It wasn't for the very few re uploaders like this channel, the song would have never been found again, the links to every source it has been found on is no longer active.
This track gives the oldskool goosebumps, then you know the sound is working. Almost like science than again its aphex twin and squarepusher they are like scientists of music 🎉😊
This is not something you can describe to anyone. You just feel the feels for yourself... and if you lucky you can share that feels with someone on the same wavelength.
I'm all in for the 0.75x , I can imagine this song played in the Mass Effect AfterLife Club, along with this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-POHscfRZty8.html
Now I see why it's not released yet. wish they would get together to finish it. kind of reminds me of Planetarium or Polynomial C with that epic, infinite flying through space vibe
Check out Richard's Analord mixtape, has some amazing tracks similar to this. For Squarepusher, some great albums I'd suggest are Go! Plastic, and Big Loada. They're not exactly like this, but some of his finest works. Also, another artist you should definitely check out is Mike Paradinas (μ-Ziq).
RCmies because the progression is so good. It will take much longer to get tired of it, but yes, you can get tired of it if you listen to it excessively.
Not to be a contrarian but I'd say it has more to with the filter alterations on the 303. The pad also helps because it comes in and out throughout the track making it feel unpredictable. My guess is this is a live jam as there are hardly any drum edits and the melodies are actually the same throughout. By the standards of either of these guys this is super un-involved does anyone where this was ripped from?

It's a reconstruction of an unreleased Squarepusher track. ALL statements made that this is a collaboration between him and Aphex Twin are PURE speculation most likely fueled by the fact that Aphex has played this live numerous times, but that bassline is pure Squarepusher, and they used to exchange tracks all the time, so there's that... Listen to the live versions... they sound different.... AGAIN: THIS IS JUST A RECONSTRUCTION
