I would love to win because I've seriously embraced my curly hair. It's so empowering to just be totally obsessed with what you've got. I've learned to appreciate it because some people pay big money to get their hair permed to be curly. I naturally have it and it is just so good to not to have to worry about straightening all the time. Plus, 2017 is going to be the year where I really tend to my curls. Great vid, I want a change in my hair and even though I had perms when I was a kid that dried out my hair, my girl who does hair told me that perms now a days are so much better! My hair is pin straight and does nothing, who knows I might just take the plunge and perm it. Knowing me, I won't but these days I am so ready for a change it is either perm or cut it short like I use to have it and heady isn't having it! I am dying it but I want that drastic change that says "oh hey, I am ready for you 2017" not that my word isn't preparing me, but you feel me!! LOL

The directions repeatedly say DO NOT MOVE HAIR while drying. I noticed you were rubbing your hair and bouncing it all over the place. I'm wondering why the directions say it's so important to not do this.

Are you able to keep lightening your hair and your curls stay? My natural color is DARK brown and really don't want to go back to dark hair. I was blonde as a kid...but as you get older, it gets darker. Soooo, I am considering doing this treatment because after I highlighted, my curls lost their bounce and really kind-of straightened (but not in a nice way...with frizz and all). Do I need to go back to my natural color?
I do admit that when I dyed my hair blonde, my curls weren't as tight as they used to be. Bleaching will shock the hair and does cause a mild relaxation of the curl for me- although that doesn't happen to everyone. Recently I dyed my hair to light brown with blonde streaks and that seems to work better for my curls. So it all depends- but if you want to get your curls healthier at a quicker pace, I'd suggest not dying it cuz that will definitely take you back a few steps
Today’s a great example of why I need to win! My brown hair is normal (straight as ever), my gray hair has decided to go rogue and is curly and staticky. None of it will hold a curl or body because it’s humid as heck so I look terrible. my ig is sayumi.michishige

It depends on the health of my hair at the time. If it's really dry and damaged I'd go for twice a month. If it's healthy, maybe once a month or every other month
