First time I ever tried to pray to Aphrodite (being new to Hellenism from Christianity) I felt she asked for rosemary bread. Had no idea rosemary was connected to her. But, I’d love to make her some if that’s what she wants!? How would I offer it!? Burned, buried, shared!?

Place it on an altar! How you dispose of it is up for debate. You could burn it or bury it, whatever feels right. You don’t have to give her the whole loaf. When I offer food to my altars, I like to stand/sit with them and share the food by having a portion for myself to eat/drink after I place some on their Altar. It’s like having a little lunch tea party with them. Whenever it starts to go bad after a few days you can dispose. I personally chuck my disposed offerings out into the backyard. After some consideration, I determined it’s okay to leave it to either be eaten by the stray cats or to be decomposed into the earth. They absorb the energies from the offering, so once it starts to rot it’s served its purpose.

I've decided I really want to dive deep into this and worship someone! I've chosen Aphrodite because I feel like she's been with me my whole life, ever since I was born, and I really want to show my appreciation for her. I'm hoping to get a small altar of some sorts set up before bed, and I noticed i have quite a few things to decorate it with just around my room! She is truly with me. Thank you for such a well made video, you are absolutely lovely!

UGH. Lovely video, and youre so cute! 💜 I can feel your sweet kindness through the screen 🥰 I love Aphrodite. My first (and only rn) deity and shes such a calming and loving energy to work with. I had an urge to work with her and when I visited the thrift store I asked "If Im meant to work with Aphrodite, Ill make an altar today. Just give me signs from her." Literally found EVERYTHING I needed. Two golden rose candle holders, two white taper candles, a bag of shells, a pink rose heart chalice and a shell offering dish. It was really meant to be 🥰

In the opening portion of Book 1 of De rerum natura, Venus charms Mars and conquers him sexually and with her charms, and in this way she neutralizes all the belligerent energies in the psyche and in society, and procures the social contract (which is what Lucretius is praying for in that portion of DRN). These themes go all the way back to the cult of Inanna 7,800 years ago.

I found a protective chant you can use daily calling on her but shouldn't you do something else for her like burn some incense outdoors in a rose quartz offering bowl maybe ? I don't want to shortchange her and make her mad.
