Great Song....of course Is a playback but brilliant anyway, when you listen to the individuals...Vangelis at keyboards,Demis Roussos Fender bass and vocals,Lucas Sideras drums, percussion and vocals...and then, not in the video but you can recognize Siver Kouloris as Guitar solo...this band should have lasted longer but infortunately they split up...so Sorry...
@@returnofthepinballwizard1968 well... I'm not surprised,Rick Wright used to play a distorted piano too, those guys were so much ahead!! Thanks for the info anyway!
@@dinotrincas9620 Vangelis invented the distorted Hammond sound and was the first to use it. It's ironic, many rock fans and historians say that Jon Lord was the first to use a distorted Hammond. The truth is, Lord didn't play a distorted Hammond until 1970, one year after Let Me Love Let Me Live was released.
@@returnofthepinballwizard1968 you're right...Vangelis had also the idea to mix classical tunes like Pachebel Canon in Rain and Tears before Procol Harum...a Genius.
I remember my uncle (born in the second half of the 40s) who listened the Aphrodite's every day both in the hi-fi system home and in the Stereo 8 of his Mini Morris, the look seemed like a component of the group, had the poster in the room, each summer spent the holidays in the beautiful Greek islands just because they are passionate about them, what a curiosy memories!!!
I have always loved you Demis your eyes, your smile, you had it all for me ,your music, and your appearance from young age till now and always ,oohh i miss you ,with your incredible unique voice ever ,RIP Demis Thank u for all the memories u gave me xx u passed away way to soon xx u went with the wind ,my sweet Demis x y will always be a legend .. not a day goes by without ur music and vids .love from The Netherlands .
NORBERT .
The "guitar" you're hearing is a distorted Hammond Organ with a wah pedal, played by the master Vangelis himself. They did not have a lead guitarist (Silver Koulouris) until the recording of 666, two years later.
