I'm a 39 year old high school coach, I played college basketball and I've seen almost everything when it comes to basketball training products, shoes, jumping programs etc. over the past 30 years. This is not new "technology". This shoe is has been around for at least a decade. If this shoe performed the way that APL claims it does there would be thousands of players playing in it. This shoe is not banned by the NBA because it makes you jump higher. There is a small plastic disc that contains 8 small springs. There is absolutely nothing special about this "tech". Please save your money and leave this bullshit shoe alone. If you got $400 burning a hole in your pocket go buy a pair of Jordan 35s or the LeBron 18. Then take the $200 bucks you still have and buy a gym membership. Back squat, power clean, trap bar deadlift and box jumps will improve your vertical about 20 times more than these silly ass shoes.
Damn, don't be recommending Lebrons to kids Mr "coach". They are a very unstable injury-prone shoe that's made for bigger and slower guys. imagine being judgmental about blowing money on an expensive shoe and then saying go but 200$ trash LeBrons. Cant speak no the 35s cause i don't have them.
@@leoconstantino7069 because it’s his fucking shoe? 2iq logic. Lebron puts millions$ a year into his body to stay healthy. His play style is not “twitchy” he is not particularly quick when he gets to the basket, he just big and lengthy. When was the last time you saw lebron stepping on a dime like Kemba for example? Dude said the shoes is for bigger guys and he right
No, it won't give you an extra boost cause to even trigger it you have to weigh something. Most of the cushioning setups are made for normal men brother, you are like 5'7 and fucking 50lbs xD. You reviewed so many shoes with great cushioning setups and said they are stiff and trash. I've tried most of the Adidas shoes(i have a huge discount) with great cushion setups you reviewed on the channel and was baffled when you were just shitting on them( in terms of the midsole). I am not a big guy(6'2,195) and I feel like you do injustice to the shoes when they are made for an average basketball player who is much heavier than you.
From a PHYSICAL stand point THOSE COILS ARE USELESS.. there's literally not enough metal coil in the spring to contain and/ or release enough energy to be useful. Any effect on someones jumping would be the Placebo Effect.
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a review of that spring system in the original model and was proven to not do anything it’s a gimmick that’s not true from what I remember. I don’t remember the video that breaks it all down but I did see it
Hi I’m from Philippines first of all ireally love that shoes🥺 but I’ve don’t have a money to buy that. And also that shoe has not selling in the Philippines 😭
i digging addias they my best shoes play basketball in.
