dontbemad plz its the very first fucking AP music awards with performances by some of the bands that grew up, blew up, and are still covered by the publication that allows these so called fans to learn more about the artist they love. I don't care if you're in a thousand dollar suit, you go to an outdoor event like this with good music you sweat your ass off, go home and do laundry, take a shower and awe in the fact that you were a part of history.
It's just the sound...they muted ambient noises (basically the crowd) so you could hear Alex better. I suppose they had to quiet Vic just a bit in order to fully mute the crowd.
@@diamondpenguinz2896 Nah not really, the APMAs 2014 just had _really_ _bad_ mixing, I don't know who was running it and how they heard this and said "Yep, this sounds great", but somehow that's exactly what happened. If they wanted to mute the crowd all they gotta do is turn the crowd mics down very low in the mix, as they indeed are here
I'm cringing at how bad the crowd was. I honestly don't care what band is on or playing, im at a concert and i am going to try to enjoy every fucking bit. People need to respect these artist because they work their asses off 24/7! get off your damn phone and at least try to enjoy the performance. idgaf if i dont know the songs but i promise you if i had the chance to go i would have head banged to every fucking song.
I love All Time Low, they are my absolute favorite band. I can't complain about them at all or their performance. But I hate HATE to see people at a concert watching it through their phones. Like You're there to see these bands, or this award show or whatever like get off your phone and have the human experience of it. When i'm at a concert my phone is off and tucked away in my pocket or bag because I'm there to make memories, not make a video.

Jake Rubin i agree taking one pic or two just to remember it later but i hate the cunts that spend half a set filming a show and then when I ask em to put it down they say its for just one more song. man i love to jump on top of those fuckers
i always make a video of my favourite song, and just live the rest of it in the moment. going to a concert and watching it through a phone is so stupid, like it feels like you're just watching it on youtube or something.
1:16 okay 1. Thats disrespectful. 2. Nobody cares what your doing right now. Even if you dont know the song, get pumped because your very lucky to be there.
For anyone complaining about the crowed, please let me explain. All the people near the stage were VIP which included a large quantity of the family members of the orchestra, and rich people who could afford $200+ tickets. I was at the front of the general admission crowd, but it was so far back and nowhere near the stage. Where I was at, people were pushing, and dancing, and screaming the lyrics. There were mosh pits and crowd surfers. There was nobody to catch the crowd surfers, so they all crash landed into the VIP section and tried hiding there, only to have a security guard chase them out. During ADTR, the fence separating the VIP section from the GA section almost broke because of how hard everyone was pushing forward to get closer. In between all the acts, when the cameras weren't rolling, security guards would come out and yell at us to calm down, and to step back from the fence. Needless to say, it was very frustrating.
I was the only one in my family that was watching the APMAs and when this came up, i was running around the house singing along...and i didn't realize what i was doing until after the performance.....
I wonder if Vic's voice was hurting or something because he seemed to sing the song differently than he usually does. His voice was still perfect thouhh❤️
Saw Cody a few times in this, I can just imagine him with a huge smile on his face the entire time because he got to watch all these amazing bands up close.
I feel like if i was in that crowd, i would've been the loudest one -.- everybody was just on their phones recording and what not. Like c'mon you got this RU-vid Channel to do it for you. I wouldve been screaming my lungs out if i saw all these bands and legends infront of me. 😡
THIS CROWD SUCKS. AND I HATE IT SO MUCH BECAUSE I'D DO EVERYTHING TO BE THERE AND THEY'RE WASTING THEIR OPPORTUNITY BY WATCHING THE CONCERT FROM THEIR PHONES WHILE THEY RECORD A FUCKING VIDEO. Gosh, that gets me on my nerves.
I knew it! I wasn't the only one who has a problem with Vic's mic. Still great performance though. Just so bummed with the crowd. It's like, hey, if only I had the chance to be there, I might be screaming and rejoicing like a kid who got out of a maze. If that made sense.
Traayya62 I was in the front (aka VIP) and they had told us to keep it chill and shit being that it was an award show and not a concert. They had also asked the VIP to dress for the occasion so some were in dresses and heels. Most of the people who were in VIP were in their 20s and it was a completely different vibe than the GA
Throughout the whole award show the crowed was honestly pathetic though the acts were amazing. And I also can't get over how happy Vic looks just performing, it makes me so happy:)
Wow the crowed is so... Ugh what's the word.. They just look there dead.. Like honestly if I were there I would be singing along with them so fricken loud or perhaps manage to push everyone and get on stage with them... Like honestly that crowed looks like there trying to be happy or impressed. But at the end of the day vic and all time low ends up getting payed anyways. But it would have been nice to see the crowed more up beat.
