This year had a rough start. I had a dog who was my best friend who sadly passed away early of September last year and that’s why I didn’t update around October like I had planned, I needed some time to heal and I didn’t want to keep filling myself with sadness. Having him around reminded me I didn’t really need friends, which to update I wasn’t surprised by like I had said at the beginning… also, I don’t even drink lol. I only have like 3 friends today, but that’s okay! 3 friends is enough for me. Thank you all so much who waited for me. Thank you all so much for the love and virtual hugs. Last year I lost the love of my life in a horrible car accident. We had lots of trauma that we suppressed and we were so abusive towards each other mentally and physically. The last time I saw him we got into a big fight and I told him how much I hated him and wanted him dead. He ends up going missing and dies all alone. Everyone blamed me and for a while I blamed myself I wanted to take my own life. Instead I just spiraled and slowly started to lose everything and everyone around me. It took months and me surrendering to God to understand. Please hold on tight to your loved ones I would do anything for another chance to see my loved one but I know I’ll see him in heaven. No fight or argument is worth staying mad at your loved one make things right before their time or your time comes. Believe me the regret and guilt can eat you alive.

The best decision that I have ever made was choosing myself. To whoever reading this you deserve so much better, don't settle for less.

I recently lost my girlfriend. We were together for 6 full years. I wanted to write this because I felt it was necessary. I needed to get it off my chest. Everything was great in the first year. We had that spark when you meet someone new. Unfortunately, she had got out of a long term relationship from high school and had history with him. She cheated on me the first year. I forgave her because I really wanted to be with her, but to be honest. Ever since then, it went downhill. We had good times but mostly bad because it was in the back of my head for a long time until I got over it. It took me 2-3 years to get over that feeling of not being wanted or loved. I wanted to be perfect for her. Then 3 years into the relationship, we fought more and more and said things we didn’t mean and regret. She found someone else for like 1-2 months. So it sucked, that she basically cheated again because we weren’t done. When I found out she was with someone else. I saw her phone, pictures of her naked that were sent. Messages. It hurt like hell, and I didn’t know what I was doing wrong. Again, like an idiot. I forgave her and we started dating again. Then now that we made 6 years. She started feeling not happy anymore, all we did was fight. Quarantine didn’t make it any better. We rarely saw each other. I knew we were at the verge of a cliff. And it sucks. Because I caught her yet again 1 week ago. With her first ex from high school in the car. She looked dead at me. I knew in that moment. Everything was over and done with. She had moved on. The crazy thing about it, was I had just bought her a vase with roses that night and I was going to tell her that she was the one and that I was sorry for not trying anymore. That we could maybe start over. But after seeing something like that, it just kind of kills you. It breaks you in ways that I can’t describe. She didn’t even text me or call me after. She just left it like that. Everybody says I deserve better but it still hurts to lose someone you’ve been with for that long. I’m sorry for writing this. But cigarettes after sex has saved me. From pain and from loneliness because their music helps me calm down and makes me happy. Even though, she did indeed break my heart. I wish her nothing but the best and I hope she finds happiness. Now, I hope to just focus on myself and work hard to do what I want to do. I will keep you guys updated in 6 months-1 year to see how I am doing. Thank you for reading this.

A boy introduced me to their songs. And in three days while we were getting closer and opened up to each other I started to have feelings for him. We were walking at night at the empty city center together with this song. When we left and went back home each one of us to his country we kept talking a lot but after three days he told me that bc of the distance…. He was so kind and broke my heart in the most beautiful way. I cried and cried so bad listening to this song during my first heartbreak. Every time the lyric “got the music in u baby tell me why” came up I cried even more cause he truly had the music in him. But it was all over before it even started. And after 2 months I was told it was all a lie, he didn’t even like me. That’s when the real heartbreak started cause what I had for him was the most powerful, real and honest thing I had. Yesterday I was at their concert, after so many months of suffocating and wanting to be around his arms when they said “and you just can’t say goodbye” I said “goodbye”.

I've edited this because I was really heartbroken when I originally wrote this comment. I was sad, anxious and I felt betrayed. I thought I'll never be able to recover from that breakup. But today, as I write this, I can proudly say that I'm not that depressed, self depreciating person anymore. I am very happy and content with my life. I feel as if I have shed my older skin and I've been reborn. I'm so in love myself and the handful people I'm close to. I'm living my best life. So to all the people who have been in my place, I feel you. And trust me it does get better. Life will open so many new doors for you. You will find your purpose and happiness.
