It's not easy to get to Apolima Island. After taking one boat to Monono Island and a second boat to Apolima we discovered an incredibly unique part of Samoa. The island itself is incredible, from the volcanic lava flow ripples clearly visible in the rock sides to the unique horseshoe bay with the Pacific Ocean swell surging in making for an exciting boat entry. A visit to Apolima Island will not disappoint.
