criticisms of the music are dope and all, we're all very passionate about the game, but honestly the shit we've been getting is fucking amazing considering its literally a volunteer OST. i so wish that deca would pay these composers so they could invest their time into making the soundtrack as brilliant as possible
i stopped playing in 2014 and when i entered abyss i just knew that i had to come back to the game, its a completely different game and even tho deca are kinda dodgy sometimes, ive been really enjoying this game, faming dungeons and collecting campaign points, havent spent this much time on any game in a long time
@@lolkingftw4804 welcome back brother. Same here. Recently started a new job where I can play a game all day as long as it runs on work pc, realm was the answer and now I’m playing all day while I make moolah. Heard the lost halls song like yesterday in my first Halls and was like “fuck yes this game rules.” My game has grown over the years. Been playin since I was 13 so 9 years, got my first doom bow like two weeks ago lmao. Life is gud
@@TheworldengineBeeps nice job on the doom bow! enjoy the game its getting slowly better and having a steady path, just dont mind the community tho it can put some weight on your back
@BattlNerd (Unlaunched) Celestial is one of the easier phases. It's reliable and consistent, and you never worry about crossing beam walls or getting tpd on for it. Great dps phase too, the biggest break during the entire post-exalted fight.
@@Autumn9 tru first times I've attempted o3 i always thought heavens was way tougher than celestial and it's the part I die in the most. I only died to celestial in my first o3 attempt
*Apostasy and the rest of this beautiful soundtrack died on May 3rd, 2021, killed by DECA Digging Themselves Deeper in a Conflict Where Everybody Sucks*
I love this. I died on my 8/8 knight with a pixie/ubhp, and I still love it! The raw drum sound and key the song is in really fits the scary vibe o3 should have. Good job, keep it up!
People really die with this stuff and not get mad? My Mystic only has one UT item and that's an expo, if I died with it on O3 I would be super pissed lol
@@GiftCard_GC meanwhile the 0/8 crasher just training with nothing to lose still alive after the discord runners got their own members killed trying to kill them and ruined their own run with guards (I'm the 0/8 lmfao, this has happened numerous times)
I love that in this theme, they implemented the realm of the mad god theme but warped and inverted. In the other two oryx fights, the theme in its usual form is implemented, but now it sounds wrong, they really messed with it. Almost as if to say "you will lose, your buddies wont help you this time, the game is over."
@@oldaccount9825 But that's sort of the point of what i said, almost the whole song is consistently slower and less intense than Blasphemy, which is for an easier Oryx, that part is just a particularly noticeable example.
the parts at 3:38 have a bit of a glitchy tone I wasn't expecting, song sounds like it's slowly unmasking the true evil at work in desperate fashion, which honestly was my experience trying to fight him
This is alright. Sorry for being a bit of a downer, but I honestly kinda expected something that feels a little more intense than O1. Edit: It took a lot of me hearing it ingame to get here, but I have seen the light and I love it.
Question: Will the theme change when Oryx goes exalted? Also another question, will the Oryx Sanctuary still have its own explore theme, and each 4 bosses having their own theme?
i feel like this one pales in comparison to o2, it lacks a bit of ooomph, a bit of dread for how hard the dungeon is, although the music really picks up at the 3/4th mark
This is underwhelming tbh, not as fast, intense or oppressive as blasphemy. It's good, but not enough for a final boss theme. It's also the same length as Heresy which doesn't really make sense for the length of O3 compared to O1. Even if you can't finish changes to it before O3 releases, that's fine, we'll wait patiently if you improve it.
@@somethingorsomeone180 I'm 100% sure they said later down the line bosses will have their own themes, for the time being this'll probably be for the entire dungeon but I wouldnt be surprised if when the time comes, this becomes the dungeon theme and oryx himself gets his own theme
