Only a few of us remember this god awfully underrated song. Edit: Just because it's good doesn't make it popular. Don't know why y'all saying it's not underrated. Probably is in the sonic community because it's a good song but what I meant is underrated as a song compared to music non-related to sonic.
i was listening to this because i was writing my senior paper and wanted to listen to something that would keep me on track and when i was younger, sonic unleashed was one of my favorite games growing up. when i heard this again, i almost broke in tears because its been so long since ive heard this and it also reminded me of simpler times. sometimes i wish i can go back...
This song definitely made me cry, and it definitely makes me wanna go back to this time. Before adult life slapped me in the face lol . I remember playing this level just to hear the song lol
Believe me kid I know what you mean. I'm 6 years older than you so imagine how I feel? What's great about music like this is that its timeless. And you can live that time no matter where you go, even if the rest of the world doesnt seem like it is. It lives on as long as you want it to.
One day when I was at the beach I found this large open field area up on a ledge right next to the ocean, you could see for miles. I just randomly remembered this song and started running the trail on the field and thought of this song while running and looking at the ocean. It brought back AMAZING memories from when I used to play Sonic Unleashed on the Wii (later Xbox 360) as a kid.
When the quarantine is over the Italians will do a boat race with this song hahaha I can imagine them in their little boats there doing their careers haha
Sonic Unleashed was criticized for its night stages, the Werehog, bad controls such as homing attack mapped to boost X/Square, and it’s difficulty in day stages
you know that feeling of being *casually* excited? like you're mega excited by something but it makes you only more casual and cool-headed and not hyper? yeah that but music
There is a fleeting feeling of good times and urgency in this track. The main melody is soothing, as if you're crusing alongside the beach side in a jet ski crusin' 60 MPH. Life is good, and you starting something new. But the bass and percussion in the track carries a sense of movement. There is a lurking feeling of pushing forward. Something big is happening, and there's a large adventure ahead of us, and we gotta go fast n' strong if we ever want to get ahead.
Sonic: *here we GO!!!!!* Sonic During The stage subtitled: *WHOOOOOH* *WHOOOOOH* *YEAH!* *WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH* *WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH* (Stage End Theme) Sonic: Not Bad. Cutscene
Wow almost a million views. I never played the original game, but did love the demo that had this level, and never forgot this song. I come to this video from time to time to help me focus on work.
You gotta play the game, stages are too much fun and exciting not to!😁😁I remember back in 2008 when the demo came out and I would be in GameStop playing it. 28 years old now, such good times.
I like how all the stages (even the night stages) have fiting music depending on where the stages are based. Apotos is Greece Mazuri is Africa Spagonia is France mixed with England Chun-Nan is Chin-ah Holoski is the North pole which it give winter-y music Shamar is the middle east Empire City is American (mostly New York) Adabat is the Philippines And eggman land is that one circus stage from Shadow the Hedgehog
I was 10yrs old when I first played this game back in 2012, I purchased the game again and my ended up in tears when I played the 1st mission and this sound started to sound… after all these years and I am still playing this awesome game…. Sometimes I would love to go back and enjoy the simpler old days….
This reminds me of when I was young. I finished this game the same week as my birthday and the same week the girl I liked STOLE my first kiss... In a SUMMER
How tf has it not died most 7th gen consoles I've come across or seen from others are dead and broken. My cousin had a PS3 which I played sonic unleashed on, one day (I was up to Chun nan) I turned on the PS3 and put the disc in. It just decided to die and get stuck on the drive. What's even worse is that I was borrowing the game from a friend.
@@zap648 well that's poetic. But I think you can get disc copies online (in good condition) for decent prices, just in case you want to have a backup or play it on an Xbox one (if you have or are going to get one).
"How has it not died?" I dunno but i do know i still have an original xbox that works just fine. And i used to have a working dreamcast till we had to move and my dad was to lazy to let me go get it
Ughh this reminds me of sitting in front of the TV playing the demo over and over again in 3rd grade after obsessing over Sonic for years. Sonic Unleashed was so hype. I wanted it to have a Chao Garden. I still feel the disappointment when I remind myself it doesn't have one :( it would've been the best sonic game if it had.
