The direction of qibla is correct but this program may need to be fixed to make the compass image and the arrow image not moving continuesly. I compared with others Qibla apps which the compass image and the arrow image are 'stop' when our handphone in position 'no-move'.
The compass and Qibla arrow will only move if the orientation of the device changes and the orientation sensor of MIT app inventor is triggered. That being said, this is a tutorial showing the possibilities of MIT app inventor. The finesse of programming in android studio is not available in MIT App Inventor (a visual block based programming language)
i have built qibla finding app using the same procedure but it is showing my current location and not qibla direction. secondly arrowhead is also not showing in the app. please help me how to resolve this problem
On some Android devices, the orientation sensor isn't available. Does the simple compass work on your device? Also, the MIT App inventor location sensor doesn't work on iPhones so this app will not function without a working orientation and location sensor. Moreover, what do you mean by "it is showing my current location"? how do you know it is showing your current location if the arrow head isn't even showing?
@@ObsidianSoftEducationit is showing my current location in terms of address in textual form like 'Residential colony UET Taxila,Rawalpindi, punjab, pakistan
@tahirali8317 The app shows your current address at the top so it is behaving as expected. The purpose of showing current address is a way of knowing that location sensor is working which is in your case true so the next thing is the arrowhead which should start pointing towards Qibla (Makkah) after some calculations.
@ximipa2_01_abiakmalharmans9 Please check whether your device has an orientation sensor. First, try to make a simple compass: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_5bXiZXjLqI.html
