Dude, Pokémon was the same way. The Let's Go games were the first Pokémon games for the a console and not a handheld. However, Switch can be played in handheld mode and Switch Lite is only handheld. It should have been named Nintendo No Switch because it couldn't connect to your TV and that defeated the purpose. There was no switching between TV and handheld. Anyway, now all Pokémon games are console games!

@@Number1SethRollinsFan I think you misunderstood what I said, Mario & Luigi are currently only on handheld systems so if Nintendo announced it, it would be the console day view for the series. Pokémon was already on consoles back in the n64 era.

I'd be all for an All-Stars styled release of the series on Switch and/or its successor, especially if it includes both the original and DX versions of SS and BiS instead of only one or the other. An all new PiTDX as a stand alone release to go with it or as part of the collection would also be really cool, but that's pushing it a bit too far for expectations.

The series is on hiatus for more than 5 years now and those games introduced me to the rpg genre. It was so cool that instead of some RNG everything was in your hand... Hitting, avoiding and even counterattacking. This formula was to great to die and it absolutely deserves a comeback.

Mario And Luigi Party, if it is real, could imply there's a large number of characters that join Mario and Luigi on their adventure, like Peach, Bowser, Donkey Kong, or even Wario and Waluigi. I'd LOVE for Mallow and Geno to be included, but I don't want to get anyone's hopes up.

I hope that we get a remake of Mario & Luigi Partners in Time if this leak is true. With how Nintendo has brought back Super Mario RPG with a remake and then Paper Mario with the Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door Remake it makes me think that Partners in Time will be the next Mario RPG game to get a remake.

I think if the series does come back, Partners in Time will get an enhanced remake just like the original Mario and Luigi and Bowser’s Inside Story. They obviously skipped Partners on the 3DS remakes because something huge seemed to be planned for it given how there are frozen Shroobs in Inside Story.

It may not matter if they are back or not i dont know a lot about how business works in these kinds of things but i do believe that since nintendo owned the characters in the mario franchise and all its games alpha dream was only a company nintendo hired to help make the games in this particular series and alpha dream could not legally make these games with out nintendos permision but that also if nintendo wanted to continue the series they couldnt hire another developer for it as part of their deal but when alpha dream went out of business that changed things and now if they believe the series is worth continuing they can work with other companies to make them

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga remake for Switch could work. Emphasize on could. The main reason the recent remakes flopped has more to do with few people even playing their 3DS's anymore compared to the Nintendo Switch than it does the actual quality of the titles. But I do agree making a more original Super Mario game that's not Paper Jam and is more fresh of it just being Mario and Luigi being playable.

Super Mario RPG was the first game in a series (would be series but eventually became Paper Mario), Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door is the second game in that series. So maybe Mario & Luigi remake would be the third game in it's series which would be Bowser's Inside Story I think. But the remake already exists so hopefully it will be something new

I'm not holding my breath. Paper Mario also had no releases for years but returned a shell of its former self. The 2D Mario series also had a similar pause. While New Super Mario Bros DS was great, it lead to a long series of creatively stagnant games.

Mario and Luigi: Partners in time + Bowser’s Scheme This is my opinion on a PiT remake and we could use bowser as a side story or possibly fawful where we will see something stemming from superstar saga and leading to his character in inside story

For me it's a different situation now : - Switch has way more success. - Switch is hybrid so they have the advantage to introduce this serie to home support and not only portable. - Switch is near the end but if Switch 2 is retrocompatible, you can buy this game on Switch, and play it even on Switch 2, or just buy it on Switch 2 if they also made a Switch 2 version of this compilation. It was impossible on 3DS. - I think a compilation of ALL the Mario and Luigi games (5 games in the same cartridge) + the bonus of the 3DS remakes, would be awesome. They can take a little risk on Switch 1 to make this compilation, and in the current life of Switch 2, look at the survey, and brand a new title of the series on Switch 2. My only concern is for dual screen, but I think they can adapt this for an unique screen, or recreate this idea of 2 screens only with one.

Please bring back Kirby's air rider. Add more stages make it last longer. Heck just have city trial online and it would be so much fun Nintendo

I don’t think another remake or port of Superstar Saga is likely. The only time, to my recollection, a game has been on both NSO and released apart from that was when Super Mario 64 was part of the 3D All Stars pack and on N64 online. But that was a limited time thing and part of a package deal. Not likely isn’t impossible, though. Could be a double pack of Superstar Saga plus Bowser’s Inside Story ported since we ARE in 3DS port territory thanks to Luigi’s Mansion 2. I won’t rule it out, and I think a port of one or both is the likeliest option… I also just do not trust this person if they have a shakey track record. The shakier the “leaker”, the likelier they’re getting to the point of saying what we want to hear just for attention before they disappear forever. Seen it plenty of times before.
