Faster cuts seem to make sense for this type of content, the zoom ins and effects entirely kill the skoottie vibe for me though. We live for chill but fun content

Definitely prefer watching one video of an edited run than 5 videos each 1+ hours long to see a win on a run. Maybe slow the chops down during important battles but keeping the fast pace during wild pokemon.
I love your videos, I've gone back and watched basically every one, and I gotta say I'd much rather just see the runs as they are without all this editing, like your Balatro videos.
I think this type of editing works better if you can sprinkle in some voice over to explain the gaps and make it make more cohesive sense (esp for folks who dont know pokerogue) maybe also saying in the title that its an edited/ moments collection from the livestream rather than your usual vod style. Though i cant say im complaining sbout the pace too much lol, i got very addicted to watching retromation but sometimes the sheer length of each video was overwhelming.
I really prefer low editted videos… sorry, this goes way too fast for me… and everything distracts from the gameplay… i would prefer to just watch the vod from it personally
@@dannydoritos69 i can understand that, but this was too much for me. I dont want a soundeffect every 3 seconds to keep my attention. i just dont like this this style of editing. I think if those sound effects werent there, i would watch it, but not this one. I would prefer to have the 4-5 hour version without the soundeffects, over this one. Of course, everyone has its own prefferences, this one was just not mine.
just as one opinion i like you stepping out of your "comfort zone" but obviously there is a middle ground youll naturally find, and the real ones gon be here til u get it good
I like the new editing style but I do feel like it takes a bit from your original personality but I think it still looks good and really helped the run to be much shorter
This editing style just aint it. It completely flips why your audience watch you. We like the chill relax skootie, and this style completely contradicts and clashes with it.

I thought about trying this game but considering I'm the kinda guy who gets Pokerus then gets bodied beyond space and time by an Ampharos's Thunderpunch inflicting paralysis 4 times in a row... Nah
As someone how followed since Balantro, i loved the chill aesetic of the content and it was always fun to watch as a background or main content but this editing style, was not it for me Edit : Never personally had an issue with any videos until this one sadly
Don't know why everyone is hating on the editing here. Dont think they realize these runs are significantly longer than the other games you play, and I thought the effects were used just enough to keep the overall flow of the video going.
just very different from my average video that has very minimal editing, probably just frequent viewers that were given something they were not expecting or dont typically enjoy, trying to find a middle ground :)
Very fair assessment. I'm also a frequent viewer, I think I just underestimate how opposed people are to any variation in their routine. Just watched the normal only run, and the editing there is also great in my opinion; so I'll be watching any Pokerogue content you put out in the future! Keep up the great work dude!
I understand what some folks are saying about the editing compared to normal, but honestly it was really well done and imo it fit with this game and your attitude throughout. I thought it was really fun, and gave me a few giggles here and there.
Great video, but the ADHD/clickbaity editing was much worse than your usual minimal editing style. I know the style in this video requires a lot more work, but it's too much IMO.

I like this remake on Pokemon it’s pretty cool. I also like the new little edits that are being added to your videos. Just shows your growth as a streamer and RU-vidr. Keep up the work. Love the videos ❤
Far far bigger creators like Ludwig and Alpharad have already made videos on it. So far they've avoided any problems because this time they remembered the cardinal rule: DO NOT INVOLVE MONEY IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. They don't even accept donations for this reason.
