I bought the OnePlus Pad and have zero regrets. It's a fantastic tablet for what I need, and Apple charges far too much for its products, which are made in the same kind of factories but with a higher profit margin. I've also been with Android since before iPhones existed, so I'm loyal to the more affordable option anyway. Apple is another huge corporation which people hand their money over to, and they're just not unique when so many other people have them. I like being different while also saving money. ☺
@@adiposerex5150 Fixed what my phone's keyboard wrote automatically to save your OCD from more trauma. Have you considered other hobbies as an alternative to late night grammar checks on RU-vid comment strings....? Proofreading does pay real money.
It’s fine to have different opinions but when your opinions are based on what other tell you, it just make you sound like brainless sheep. Just because you don’t like Apple doesn’t mean they aren’t ”unique”. On the contrary, Apple is the only phone manufacturer that make their own OS, compared to all others who piggy back off Android.
I've obviously unleashed the ire of the mePhone cult! 🙊 Not sure how having been with Android since it started (well before Apple came into the game) has anything to do with basing my opinions on what others tell me, but I certainly don't obediently line up to hand $1400 over for every new updated version of the same boring phone every 18 months. And I'm still the one who plugs in last and is asked to take all of the pictures because my camera takes better pictures than iPhones of the same era. 🤷♂️
@@ErikKruse1 so according to you all iPhone are 1400 dollars? Don’t know where you live but here in the US people sometimes we get free iPhones for signing up with a carrier or trading in a phone. I like android as well as apple but I won’t spew hate like you android turds do.
I have an iPad Pro and an iPad mini, the only issue of iPads are that they have identity issue is it a pro laptop or a stretched out iPhone, there’s nothing much apple does to take advantage of the bigger screen and power where as android does specific things make their tablets feel like a personal computer at least try.
Hi your mediatech dimensity scores too less It's actual single core score is 1689-1720 in geek bench 6 and multi core score is 4200+ So i donot know why such a huge difference
None of these 2 tablets is a bargain. For those who are on Android, currently, the Tab S8 is quite often around $500, and it comes with the Spen, better software and better software tracking and especially an SD card slot. For those on iOS, buy an iPad Air 4, or, a refurbished iPad Pro 11", Apple has very good deals for refurbished iPads. Choose wisely.
OnePlus Pad is the best deal at this price for size, in addition to the fact that the device has a free keyboard if you buy it in some stores, so it is considered a better and cheaper offer (personal opinion)
I’m sure there are many people other than me. Who can’t distinguish the difference between 60hz screens and 100+hz screens. I honestly can’t see any benefit of the higher setting so I keep it turned off. 60hz works fine for me and I save lots of battery. Display. Another thing I like about the OPPad. It has a display size and shape similar to the iPad. Most android tablets are very different. Geek Bench Performance For Technofiles this may well mean something. For the average user. That being I believe to be 90+% of the people buying this pad. Will care little about it. I use the OPP the same way I use my iPad. And while I do see minor differences in them. Not everyone is going to use their OPP the way I do. And the issue, as in one. That I see with this pad having to do with RU-vid. I think will be either corrected by YT or OP in a future update. This issue I’m talking about, is not present in the OPP2. I have two OPP and it is both of them. But not the two. Biometrics Face, number, fingerprint. All work for me. So long as there is a means of security on the device. Cellular I never buy cell pads. Why would I when I never take my tablets outside my home. And if I did. I can hotspot to my phone for a time, and save a whole subscription to another cell line. Display differences. I seriously can’t not tell the difference between 60 and anything higher. So I set all my devices to 60hz and save battery. I’m sure there are people who can see the difference and it is a plus for them. I just can’t see it. Be aware. Watching movies on RU-vid, not normal videos, but movies, has a massive flickering issue. Everything I can see says it is a refresh issue. But changing refresh does nothing to fix it. The OnePlusPad2 does not suffer from this. And seems to work flawlessly. I’m hoping that this issues for the OPPad will be corrected in an update. But if you never watch movies on YT this will not be an issue for you.
I have the oneplus pad with keyboard and stylo, i also have both the oneplus buds pro and oneplus buds pro 2R and the oneplus 9 pro xD hmm i am seeing a pattern here 😂
I discovered something after a long search and personal experience Apple provides a lot of great applications, but the basic devices have a lot of comment in them, such as Davinci Resolve and also the company has begun to reduce the features of the basic version such as Stage Manager and also slows down the device before its updates are completed and some features stop supporting it, most of the current features come for versions that are at least two years old, for example, my current device from 2018 did not get many features in the last years Then it suddenly stops working and if I fix it it stops working after a while my device is ipad 6th
This is true. But for those who might want an android base with an iOS feel. This is the one pad in the USA that can provide it. Apple removed sim trays from US phones, so I haven’t purchased one since the 13 ProMax. And won’t. OP has replaced iPhone for me. Because it is a very iOS like UI and the phones still have a sim tray. For almost a decade. iPad has been my pad of choice. But when apple presumed to know my needs better than I knew them, I slowed my iPad purchases, and when the OPP came out I started looking at a new device. OPP2 is now my new android tablet and I still buy iPads. But those will eventually die off. Apple can kiss a big rock if it thinks it knows my needs better than me. Going forward, more and more of my tech purchases will go to other companies. And eventually Apple will lose all my business. And I hope I’m not the only person taking this stance.
I don't think it's in the same ballpark as these. We've used the fire hd 10 from 2019 and 2021 for the kids and those things suck. Not going with another tablet from them again.
100%. This is its most affordable new tablet. at $400, it is way cheaper than a $1000+ Tab S8 Ultra or 12.9-inch iPad Pro. There are cheaper ones, but if you want an iPad, this is as budget as you get for a new model.
@@rolins3279 Yes, that's their budget-friendly tablet. Just like Apple has the pros that are on the high-end, iPad is the budget version and the Tab S8 is their budget version.
Depends on which one you buy. But yah. The ten is the modern budget iPad. You can still get the 9 for about 100 less than the ten. But if your looking at the 9. You might just as well buy the OPpad.
Apple even under clocked the A14 Bionic in the IPad 10th gen, 2.88ghz here, compares to iPhone 12’s and iPad Air 4’s 3.1ghz and yet it still beats the One plus pad. I like the design of the One Plus Pad, it’s very cool and it has nice some features.
I have a oneplus phone and a MacBook computer. I'm looking to get a tablet. I'm open to the OnePlus tablet, but one of the main things I would like to do is use my tablet as an additional monitor for my laptop. Would I be able to do that with the OnePlus alongside my MacBook?
I am frustrated with Apple’s current line of iPads. It seems like each one has some sort of compromise or lacking of certain features, to encourage customers to spend more money for an iPad Air or iPad Pro. (Apple Pencil 1 and an adapter cable? Duh…) I have an older iPad 5th Gen (cellular, 128GB) that I would like to replace. I looked at what is available, and would have chosen the iPad 10th Gen, but the Apple Pencil thing is frustrating, as well as the lack of a 128GB size. 64GB isn’t enough, and 256GB is too much. So there is a 128GB iPad Air, but then the price is higher than a 256GB iPad 10th Gen. So I’m going to wait and see what Apple introduces in 2023.
Here in Europe it's very different... the IPad is 609 euro (unless you want a measly 64gb storage), the Oneplus Pad is 400 euro, and you get both the Oneplus folio case and the magnetic keyboard cover for free.
Well the OnePlus has twice the ram, twice the storage, a 144hz display vs the iPads 60hz display. The OnePlus tablet screen is also laminated while the iPad is not. It's also a much larger device as well with a larger battery, faster charging.
This is a stupid conclusion: Nobody watching this didn't know the iPad is made by Apple and OnePlus is android. You came to this conclusion after wasting 10 mins of my life thanks
🤣Not another embarrassing Android iPad Clone. They even ripped off the Apple Pencil. Talk about being utterly shameless OnePlus. So much for Never Settle. 😆🤦♂
