Apple AirPods Pro vs Jaybird Vista 2 Headphones - Which one sounds better? 

I have the JB vista 2 and AirPods. Jaybirds seem to connect better once the headphones are out of the case, not sure why that makes a difference, but that's been my experience. The set up was a bit of a pain in the ass, but now it seems to be working well. Also the Vistas have both a physical button and a tactile tap type button. There are 4 different options. Button press, double button press, button hold, and light tap allowing for a huge amount of customization. I personally use headphones for working out/hiking 90% of the time so I don't use ANC, and will say its not great on the jaybirds, but I would take the extended battery all day. If the AirPods Pro had better sound customization, better battery life (minimum 6-8 hours) they would be hard to beat, especially now at their sale price of $199, and with apple music now having spatial audio. The new studio buds will be an interesting option as well.

If the 2nd version is anything like the first, JB only connects when you pick them out of the case. I use 1st gen and they pair before I get one of them in my ear with OnePlus6

Thank you for doing this review outdoors near a river. I film a lot outdoor nature in the North West and I'm currently looking for wireless bluetooth earbuds or headset with excellent microphone clarity, without any distortion in the sound of voice and ambient noise. I like that you can still hear your voice well with clarity, no distortion and some of the ambient sound of nature in the background clear yet slightly muffled with the Vista 2. With that said, the Jaybird 2 wins when it comes to microphone sound quality.

I was about to say "holy background noise, Batman," but now I get it. Seems like the Vistas sound just a little better than the AirPods, especially considering the AirPods cut out a bit at the end.

Hello, what headphones do you recommend for running, cycling and using it every day that fits well and has very good sound for 240 dollars, beat fit pro, jayrbid vista 2 or some other, thank you very much

Definitely less background noise with the AirPod pros but the voice quality is night and day in favor of the jaybirds.

Jaybird ANC so so. Especially when walking outside with some wind Is anc better on the airpod pro, against the wind? &what about the surround sense too? Thankyou for the great vid!

The Jaybirds actually connect faster than any headphones I’ve had (including the AirPods or my Jabras), it just doesn’t pop up right away the way the AirPods do.

My vistas always connect instantly and I washed them on accident but they still going strong

So your recommendation for EQ is the Rory Bosio one? Man it’s so hard to find the right one(also the jaybird’s sound amazing compared to the AirPods for call quality)

Nice review! For some reason my case will not fully charge to 100%. The highest it will charge to is 95%. Any one else seeing the same issue?

I have the original Vista and have NEVER had an Issue connecting with my iPhone. So, that’s not an accurate real life scenario. Once you link to your phone, the moment they’re out of the charging case the connect within seconds. I like the AirPods Pro as well, just not realistic scenario.
