I put an apple CarPlay head unit in my old 2003 Toyota Corolla. The set up works pretty well as long as I use the USB for apple CarPlay. The radio was provided by Seicane: bit.ly/3zTx4Bq
Hey man, I had a question regarding your video about the Toyota Corolla installed with Car Play Mechanism, I was wondering if you purchased the 4-Core or 8-core from Seicane. I'm still contemplating on which is the best option, I was hoping you can shed some light on this, like which did you choose and how your experience was with it
You are right, the wireless CarPlay is kind of buggy. Even connecting to Bluetooth is too. What kind of usb do I need to make it wired? Also do I need to connect to the Bluetooth before the wired method works?
Hi, how long does it to boot up from Off to Acc? Some Android units take 70 seconds to boot so by the time you start the car and put in reverse and you still don't have backup camera display.
Hi again, hope you are doing great. As a car enthusiast to a car enthusiast, I've been thinking about the question every rational person asks himself: "Why BMW 530i E39(an example of something you really like) and not a Corolla, Camry or Civic?". What do you think about this topic? I couldn't make myself out from it.
I have a 2006 Toyota Corolla, will that fit? And if so does that vent piece come with it or do I buy it somewhere else and where? Sorry for all the questions but I want to get it.
Looking at a 8 core 4gb 720p display one it’s model justnavi QT10 for like $165 I will test it and let you know. Really going to be carplay screen but wanted AM radio and the wired / wireless carplay options. Double the ram is like 100 extra bucks might not be necessary if you only plan to use the car play. However 1280x720 screen resolution should be much better than 1024x600 or whatever it is
