I upgraded my 2015 Chevy Tahoe to Apple Carplay / Android Auto. I had to replace 3 pieces, Radio Module, HMI Module, and USB Connector. I get my upgraded parts from MAGPIE, you can find him here... coastalflash.com/product/2014...
Do you have a contact info for the seller other than the forums link that you posted? Want to get this done on my 2015 but going through the forum is annoying.
@fdnyfish how did you swap out the USB in the center console can’t find any videos on that does it get pushed out from underneath or can you use a pry tool and pop it out?

I have a 16 tahoe...my daughter iphone connects to the projection icon all her phone things show....but I can't get my android to connect for Android Auto...any suggestions please
fdnyfish I got on that forum and shot him a message but haven’t heard anything yet....... so they’re factory gm parts and the only thing done is program the vin into these parts? I ask because a friend of mine works at a Chevrolet dealership as a tech
fdnyfish ok so no rear camera in motion or nav in motion? And you chose the Io6? Just want to make sure before I order. This is literally the only video I’ve found that’s helpful. Even going up to Chevrolet they told me there is no upgrade. Bullshit.
@@andykadima if you have apple carplay and not Android auto then ill work. But I just told them that I have apple carplay and I want Android auto installed.
those functions have the original stereo. And when you buy that device, a lot of money will come out and it does not bring the function of playing you tube videos or watching movies
