This is such an American thing when it comes to messaging: being worried about not being able to use iMessage. Down here in Brazil (and I'm aware, in many other countries) SMS isn't even a thing. It's pretty much about Whatsapp and Telegram.
Apple really did a number on its users. The idea that so many are shocked that an Android device can have similar build quality and better pictures is kinda sad. It's been like this for years.
As a reminder, OPPO's picture quality is really not good, Samsung is relatively poor, because he uses Sony's old sensor, in order to save costs, but he has made some improvements in other aspects, such as Mariana chip, Chinese mobile phone photography quality vivox70pro➕ is the best, its sensor is Samsung gn1 sensor, in terms of picture quality has been better than most Sony mobile phone sensors, Google mobile phone sensor is also Samsung gn1, Sony's one-inch sensor mobile phone is castrated version, The pixel area is much lower than Samsung's sensor.
The difference is that Apple tries to perfect everything they put in the devices before they release it. I have experience with both, but Apple is very limited in its abilities but what it can do it does very well. Android is more about testing new ideas and making things look, feel and behave the way you want.
Personally I've had android since the start. One thing I've complained about on iOS is its ability to become apart of my personality. Starting out it was very simple, very organized but that wasn't enough for me. Android has always offered that personal touch to all of its phones regardless of its model. Always had backgrounds and themes. I do say apple has definitely a better ecosystem up until Microsoft offering their support with Android devices. Now there's a challenge. We'll see what the future holds with Fuschia (idk if I spelled thar right)
Yes and now Samsung and Microsoft are partners they interact really well with each OS. My next Windows laptop will be a Samsung which takes it to the next level where my phone can be off and still receive messages on my laptop using Samsung message app and RCS.
I didn't knew if I was an Apple guy or an Android guy, so I recently purchased an iPhone 14 and... it was damn good the "software" and how smooth iOS was but after 3 month I got too bored of the same look, you don't have AOD's, and custom theme like in android, android was wayy to open and customisable, never been border of using an Android
Everything I said in this video is how I honestly feel about the phone I'm not going to fake my reactions or anything to make the video look good or whatever. Word.

@@declaytor I wouldn't say for years I personally hate the way Samsung oversaturates their pictures, makes me look like an Asian doll and isn't always authentic. That's why I like pixels
I believe it’s just a matter of saturation and/or stock filters applied automatically when taking pictures. Both phones take beautiful pictures, Samsung’s looked better but iPhone colors were closer to reality in my humble opinion.
This is what I've been saying. People will always go for the head turning vibrant look. Others will always counter argue that they prefer realistic. Gurl we don't want dull looking pics. Marketing advertisments for example don't use dull looking pics esp if tourism pics. 😅
@@NoxVex I get that, on iPhone 13 models you can just choose the present while taking pictures (which I don’t think has been made on the video) I can assure you (having a 13 mini) that picture are awesome and the same will be for the Samsungs
So, fun fact. Samsung was the first to introduce glass backs on their devices. Also, if you go into settings > Sounds and Vibrations > Sound quality and effects > Activate Dolby Atmos/Gaming modes. The quality of the sound will be richer.
Lol, i wanted to try ios. So far can't get used to ios.... Cant customise, awful software for me... I prefer android, but sadly photos suck on other phones, so gotta stick to iphone
Honestly as an iPhone user the Samsung S22 seem's like it's a pretty solid phone. If I switched to Android right now I would probably take the S22 over the Pixel. Honestly it has a better camera than the iPhone while still coming with a clean design. I cant wait to see the Real Day In the Life with the Samsung S22 video! Also did someone say there was a new wallpaper drop?😏
@PantherX The... what ? The finish looks cheap ? You gotta be kidding me. Both look good in their own way and you can't go wrong with either. We should stop these fights, it's 2022 already.
I switched from iPhone 13 pro max to s22 plus and I love this phone and will never go back to iphone ever as long as samsung keeps up the great work , TRUST ME YOU WILL LOVE THIS PHONE
@@willbuschmann i think Android are the one who challenging Apple how you can be sure Apple just sit back and wait for the Android to release new brand bruh your opinion is not valid what if we just say Apple release new smartphone and you will say the same thing to Android but you wont because you're android fanboy, the reason is Apple just releasing new Smartphone yearly unlike Androids every month they have new brands of their smartphone
With the speaker test, did you have Doby Atmos on? If not, I feel that it makes quite a difference on my Note 10+. You can also go into the settings and you can adjust, there is an equalizer.
You're right, I immediately turned it on my my S22+ and it made a massive difference. Also got to test it out against an iPhone 13 Pro, nevertheless they are both very comparable with minor differences. Nothing that would make you pick one over the other lol.
When listening to audio, be sure to have dolby atmos on. It is off by default, but the speakers rely on the technology of Dolby in order to sound good.
I’m in the exact same position rn. First two phones as a kid were android and I hated how clunky everything was. Loved the aesthetic and simplicity of apple at the time. Had two apple phones and recently I’ve gotten so sick of their greediness and making things such a hassle for their users. Getting the new s22 within the month. The phone looks so sleek and beautiful. The iPhone of androids honestly and I couldn’t be more excited .
I got the regular S22. Exact same screen size and aspect ratio as the 13 and 13 pro. Absolutely love it. They really stepped up with the cameras this year, and Samsung's updates to One UI 4 have been sweet. Battery life isn't as good as what I heard about on the 13 pro, but it charges fast as hell. The speakers on the 13pro definitely beat the S22 out.
@@youtubeboy5766 Honestly not 100% sure. I turned on the setting to cap the charge at 85% to protect the life of the battery. I took it off the charger at work around 9 ish last night and I'm at 67% right now. I haven't used it very heavily since I took it off. I still have to charge it once a day for sure, but I work in an office so I'm always near a charger if I need one.
@@youtubeboy5766 the battery life gets better after suing the phone for a while they use ai to optimize battery use after figuring out how you use the phone
This is weird. My s22 Ultra seems to be way faster and the speakers sound better than that. Does he have the exynos version? Should have gotten the snapdragon 8 gen1
Im so happy to see that your channel viewership has gotten a lot more consistent and people finally are starting to see the quality and dopeness that is your channel!
As a pixel 6 user I say wait for the pixel 6a cause the pixel six is an absolute beast in performance and battery and I can't imagine the power that is in store for us for the 6a

I think that people often overlook the fact that Android is an open source unlike IOS which can be tuned from the ground up for specific code of commands and optimization overall. Besides apple has always released flagship devices or even the SE series that came a year or two later to bring nostalgia with Old body yet comes with flagship chip; that's why it seems many have this view that Android is often laggy but major part of it is coming from the budget segments that offer a different composition of value. Indeed IOS is the most stable operating platform but flagship Androids are somewhat on par for the usability of average consumers..
I mean you can use an iPhone x, which you can buy really cheap and it runs very good, but then we have Samsung with the a series, it's so bad, the only good this is the camera, and by camera I mean only the wide one the rest are useless, and the screen, in rest the phone can't do anything, horrible performance, plastic everywhere and you also have to pay 400$ for it, they lag so much. I got an tab a7, when it was quiet new, omg even opening it takes you 1 minute, it lags so much, closing an app, even if it's setting, everything lags so much, an iPhone 3g works better than this, and we are talking about Samsung, not some off brand wish product, to me Samsung is trash because of this reason, idc how good they s series are if the rest are just crap, they are just stealing already, to me the s9 was the last real good phone Samsung made, after it it just collapsed, you pay more for a Samsung now than for an iPhone and get the same crap
@@iustin1658 In my country, u pay 50% premium for iPhone as compared to US pricing.. In INR... It even topples the high end S22 ultra by more than 25% in pricing... I feel IOS is stable but Android altogether offers more on the table... One is seamless nd feasible, one is stable yet restricted in many forms.. irrespective of whether people liked the notch or lightning port, they have to stick with it. I agree that IOS is most stable as I mentioned above but as a consumer, I don't want to be restricted with one brand only which Intentionally seems inhibiting other services, e.g. if u r uploading in Google drive from Iphone, swiping bottom up should still keep the upload ongoing but it doesn't. U have to keep the app open while making sure the phone screen doesn't turn off... While Apple is stable, there's nothing extraordinary that Apple does either ways in Mac or IOS that Android nd Windows aren't doing at all...
@@SeizrnUhie yeah it’s not the best, it’s one company against hundreds, and when you take that in comparison apple does very well for being just one company. And yeah apple product will work better or only with other apple products, but that goes with Samsung to, their earphones work the best with their phones, the watch the same, yeah it works with other androids but it’s more limited, it’s just how it is, apple wanted to make the best products and they are really far ahead with some product, but only if you use them with an iPhone, if not they are just like the others, kind of, and yeah iPhone is more locked but that means you won’t download malware and before I got an iPhone I used to think what am I going to do then, I have to buy apps, well I got one and didn’t care at all, I subscribed only to Apple Music and that enough for me, but if you need the more open software, you’re better off getting an android, but if you need an reliable phone that can get calls done, messages, music, video, camera, and the basic things that you use everyday, iPhone does them better, because they didn’t just make feature that don’t really work well, they put their time on what’s most important and yeah iPhone may be more expensive in some places, even where I am from they are about the same price, but if you want one you might be able to get a refurbished older one, because they still work very good, I have an iPhone 7 and it doesn’t lag, sometimes, I mean it’s not a great phone, with battery mostly, but for the age it’s comparable to Samsung a series in performance, but mine heat up a lot, it didn’t this much but now yes, android and iOS both have ups and downs but some people annoy me a lot when they say that one is miles ahead of the other, it isn’t, they are pretty equal
The only thing that really keeps me from switching to an android as I am so bored with apple and had it for years is that out of the many friends I have, I only know two people with Samsung devices. Everyone else has iPhones…. So when you’re having the iPhone to iPhone communication, it’s seamless, fast and responsive. Even dropping massive files from iPhone to iPhone is as simple as airdropping it. I also have a MacBook as my work driver day to day, and using interfaces between the two are easy. I absolutely loveeeeeeeeeee the newer androids and they look gorgeous, but with so many US users saturated with iPhones… it just makes it harder to really open yourself to try it.

Bro i brought my samsung a20 in 2019 believe me the quality of the phone is still the same, battery performans and etc. But the camera is the issue for me.
@Noah Piercy What? What does that have to do with preferring the better way to text/call/video chat people? WhatsApp literally has no benefits aside from being able to text people without having a phone. If you have a phone and the person you’re texting has a phone there’s no point.

Android flagships have def been on the same level as IPhone for the past few years now, only thing stopping me from switching is IMessage though. But most of my issues with IOS and IPhone are fixed with tweaks so 🤷
how ios file handling nowadays? everything still through itunes? and limited to each apps? this one keep holding me for years, my heart want ios but my mind say android :(
none of the newer galaxy devices from 2020 gets accidental touches as they r ever so slightly curved which gives the phone a very premium, unique & futuristic look then a completely flat display phone
You know Android can take FaceTime calls through FaceTime links......you can have your nightly FaceTime calls😆. Also, make sure you turn on Dolby Atmos for your speakers to make them sound even better.
The reason why the speakers go everywhere, is it using Dobly Atmos. Try watching something that's Dobly Atmos on Netflix, you'll realize why it 3D. Also with music it just not left and right sounds. 3d audio will always be better than stero left and right.
Just two observations; audio and zoom picture qualiaty test were unfair. Out of the box Android has a lot of audio enhancing features disabled. Second, the zoom, you zoomed in way more on the android...
As a iPhone user, I am aware Samsung makes decent phones which are also popular however at this current time I still prefer iPhones over Samsung phones. It’s not one being better then one other or not I just have a personal preference of iPhones both companies products are great in their own way.
Nah in terms of the display I think the s22 plus is better, and the camera, it really does the job well and pretty good than the iPhone. But also the iPhone rocks with an excellent audio quality, battery and a powerful chip too!! But both are great phones to be honest!!
Did you apply a screen protector?? If so which one? Most screen protectors seem to mess with the fingerprint sensitivity... im not sure which to buy myself
In fact testing phone speakers at high volume is kinda dumb. At that point you should be BT to a real speaker of some kind. BTW I'm a Galaxy owner. Just saying that the speakers shouldn't be a big concern.
both have their pros and cons. Samsung has the better display in my opinion. Advantage of iPhone Face ID disadvantage. it sits on the old Lightning connector and not on USB-C
I've had Samsung since S2 then switch to iPhone when S21 came out. Now back to Samsung with the S22. The only thing I like better on the iPhone is the speakers. They are WAY better. Oh well.

I really don’t see where ppl say the Samsung looks better I’m looking at the pic with the snow and it a yellowish tone and most of the pics just have too much saturation I think the iPhone pics look more true to life
Just a note, the default messages app is integrated with Google messages, so it's all on mobile data with large file transfers like iMessage. You can even react and view reactions of each other's messages. Give it a try, see what iMessage users and yourself think of it. And, technically you can use FaceTime on Android through a link.
The thing is everyone outside the United States/Canada is already on whatsapp.. Google messages is more relevant in countries where whatsapp, line, wechat, zalo and kakaotalk have not already taken over which is basically only the United States and Canada.
