Additionally, Samsung's Good Lock app offers a level of customization that is hard to find on other phones. As an iPhone user, Samsung is still way waaay more customizable a and user friendly than the iPhone. Apple doesn’t listen to its customers, they really don’t care about what we want :( The main reason I’m using iPhone is the Face ID. Hasn’t failed me even once in all these years, works EVERY TIME even in pitch-black.

Still Android has more in terms of customization, 3rd party launchers will make things easier and better. Apple fans will argue about the default only launcher, but only because they still don't have that feature yet.

Good to see Apple offering basic features now on iOS which have been on Android since years, they are catching up but far far away from Android. These customization feature wont lure me and many Android users to switch however it's a pleasure to see Apple's execution, we should appreciate that 😊. Thanks for this video, good comparison. Good Lock is THE pandora's box. Apple still has a long way to go before it can beat Samsung/Android's customization. By the time iOS31 comes out, its customization features will be similar to Android 15.

@@bigdrews4360 my kids use iPad so FaceTime and iMessage with them is invaluable. And just little things, CarPlay works better for me than android auto. The app experience all though is sooo much better now that it used to be android it still doesn’t match what I get from iPhone.

@@bigdrews4360 my kids have got iPads so being able to text them with Imessage and FaceTime is something I can't do if I move over to the Samsung full time. And for some reason something keeps pulling me back to iPhone I don't know whether it's because the app experience is just a little bit better or what it is to be honest but I can never seem to stay with the Samsung for too long even though I know it's an all-around better phone and certainly much more fun to use.

I anyways use both. But customisation of course is baby steps for IoS as on date. And yes, I was definitely waiting for the calculator on IPad. Loved it. One thing is for sure. Whatever and whenever Apple introduces changes..the transition is smooth and uniform unlike half-baked Android UIs

I noticed many of those features like screen projection , power button on screen, secure apps and folders and customization I noticed I have had on one ui for years. But apple did well with the satellite emergency and text , crash detection, AI personal voice, math notes , and Apple Intelligence Siri . The truth is both Android and Apple copy each other but I prefer Android it's more fun to use

Just here to say what apple did was nice but it's funny they decided to give in to customizations so late in the game. They wasn't happy when people jail broke iPhones back in the day when we were teens and now they're phones are pretty much androids.

My first smartphone was a Nokia Windows phone. When I found out they would be discontinued I looked at Android and Apple. I also asked users what they didn't like about their phones. Some of the people were surprised because they'd never been asked what they didn't like about a product. After giving the answers much thought I chose Android. One of the biggest issues I have with Apple phones is 'Settings.' Why in the flubbing hell must we leave the app to go to Settings in order to make changes AND THEN go back to the app afterwards? Android apps have Settings right in the app.

I have been on samsung for many years. I love it all. But went with an iphone this time, because the apple watch ultra. I simply love it. No matter what its great to see apple open up and integrate some stuff for the average user. I know they are very closed, because security. But its a step. In terms of use the iphone haven't failed me like the s20 did. S21 is great and s23 is better, but iphone is more smooth, cant argue that. I hope, they continue to learn from each other. And start listening more and more to their fanbase.

its not from learning from samsung or android,apple has a whole mental health department as well as a good research and development any single product comes out they’ve worked on it for 3yrs and that’s enough time to figure out what is useful,safe and simple for the user.if you give out useless gimmicky features on a personal device the product becomes stale.iphone has many features that no one talks about,like the fact for yrs no one knew it could translate languages on device without internet or data….but that’s a very useful feature that doesn’t need to be bragged about its simple,yet not some gimmick.
