I seriously don’t see the hype behind wireless charging. The wireless charger still needs to be plugged in and you can’t use the phone comfortably because the charger is stuck to the back.

I'm feeling that regular iPhone 12 in blue. I love that they returned to the rectangular sides. I remember when those were around back in high school during the iPhone 4s and 5 days. It always looked better (and more rigid) with the square vs rounded edges.

I'm interested in trying the iPhone 12, like the 799$ one. I have been pushing back changing my phones, (current Phone is the Galaxy A5, that I've had for 3& a half years) and been waiting for the holiday sales for the iPhone 11 pro. So when I heard ya say that there could be a new iPhone update in Techtober, it got me pretty excited. Thanks for covering this 😃

Leaning towards the mini. I love the small phones. But the pacific blue color is tempting.

I like the flat sided shape. It reminds me of IPhone 4 & 5 generations nearly a decade ago. Still think it was their best design yet.

The MagSafe thing is really cool for, as you mentioned, accessories. For years I've been wanting a phone mount for the car that magnetically attaches (this is already common, but requires a metal plate to be fastened to the phone) and simultaneously charges the phone wirelessly, with a cable going from the mount to the power source. Now it seems like something like that will be incredibly easy. As an Android user I'm disappointed that Apple thought of it first! But like all tech on both sides of the fence, what comes to one will eventually come to the other. Just glad to see the tech moving in that direction.
