Thank you for the comment dude! I really enjoyed heading back and watching the old releases. Showed what an impact the iMac has had over the years 🤟🏼More videos soon 🎉
I beg to differ with all those who believe this is a step down from the 27” iMac. I just made the transition and it took about 30 mins to get used to the screen size. The reality is 24” is very usable; but many of us had convinced ourselves that we need a mega screen to do daily office tasks. Bigger screen = opportunity to multitask = inefficiency 😌
Thinking about dropping my current network provider, also they phasing out my older phone that I've been using in January, Not sure why they don't offer phones to long time users .
I have experienced different faults from my verizon postpaid account but,i feel verizon just setup shop to rip me and other customers,i have met my foe with verizon,my clear opinion about them are bad and i see myself not using them, except me getting the help needed in resolving the issues i have with them about my verizon unlimited postpaid account.
I recently added a new line ( we had 3 now 4 ) to take advantage of the BOGO offer as I upgraded a current line . Need fine print question answered . I recently added a 4th line to take advantage of the BOGO , as I upgraded one of the original 3. My question is if I cancel one of the original lines ( that does not have an installment ) will it cancel my promotion on the new line ? I know AT & T has a 90 day rule if you cancel any lines within 90 days of a promotion it gets kicked off . Does Verizon have this same fine print ? I've called and asked several different stores and I keep on getting different answers .
@@harveyrott8617 You can cancel any line except the recently upgraded line and the new line . Also , how was false churn not be passed on to the customer yet ? If you cancel one of the 2 lines thats not involved in the promo , thats fine . would recommend waiting until you see the BOGO credits on your bill before cancelling an old line though

I have watched several IMac videos but I found your very genuine and useful. I’m excited for my IMac too which will be arriving pretty soon!! Thank you for your review.
A great review and a very useful webcam/mic comparison. Simultaneous like & sub. You have great potential as a major RU-vid tech reviewer. A stylish office studio by the way! I’d love to buy one as I’m a University lecturer and the inbuilt cam & mic array is good enough for my work recording lectures, encoding to video, doing live webinars & Teams sessions. I have the Logitech Brio but it is a nightmare maintaining eye contact with an audience. I tend to use my laptop more for live sessions . Having said that, I’m reluctant to give up a Samsung 32” QLED monitor and a powerful MSI desktop with RTX2070 graphics. A bit torn tbh!
I think this is also the best entry computer and does something much better than a tablet or laptop and that is providing a brilliant screen and it has the size of screen that is so much larger than s tablet or laptop that it makes it an easy choice , especially when you look at the price of Apple tablets and laptops with the M1 chip and so , it is a no brainier . Great video
Thank you. I need to get more videos out to really build I think 🤷🏻♂️ Difficult while juggling a full time job as well. Thanks for the comment though ☺️I get the Harry thing a lot 😂
I find it incredible how people are complaining about the Magic Mouse. I mean - where else would YOU put the charging port if you were designing? The side?? That's a non-starter anywhere other than at the bottom will instantly ruin the look of the device, not to mention having a cable jutting out the side of the mouse isn't going to make it anymore comfortable to use. I'm not a fan of the Magic Mouse but the hate it's getting is just so unnecessary.
i've been thinking about this imac at first, but after seeing it for the first time I decided to stick with the 27 inch. It looks like a baby compared to the 27'. Great video anyways! I enjoyed this alot. x
If I had the 27inch, I would stick with that too. It’s a major leap forward from the 21.5 model but that only makes the upgrade for the 27 even more exciting. Thank you for the comment on the video, glad you enjoyed it!
I tend to view this as a large notebook instead of a smaller desktop. Really an incredible product. On the ethernet, I use that on my M1 Mac Mini for optimum speed with gig speed internet. But remember in school and office environments the ethernet is important to have in many environments.
@@TK-qv4xh I was speaking to how light it is, I did not mean it literally. Sure a large tablet too. But the idea this is somehow a poor design is nonsense. Beautiful machine. What ports do you want? Most people will not use all those ports and those that need more can use adaptors.
It’s tricky at the moment. The M1 does so much but it’s almost showing us what COULD be done with more high powered cores and chip set. Apple are killing the game right now!
The computer, like most M1 chipset Mac’s don’t make any noise. Even when pushing 4K video editing, it’s totally silent. You’ll be fine for anything casual 👌🏼
Thx for your answer, i‘ve ordered the base model, i hope it is also silent as the higher model due to the one fan during simple tasks ^^ i just wanna surf in the internet and watch videos with silence as possible
This was an excellent review and with a few peeves too....mine is that the BASE is to a point it is not wide to support the tipsy screen... if you cannot pull tape off without tipping this bad boy over....or yanks it straight off a desk or table when the NON "magsafish" cable hooks on to the broom, mop or vacuum cleaner.... a bit more wider in the front of the stand as the older support leg was, but then that's a different design.... Design over safety..... so BUY the Apple+ warranty. The INTRO was out of this world....
Great points made Ben, and enjoyed the throwback to the original iMac's. regarding ethernet, this is essential for multi-user enterprise environments where wifi can be easily toggled off or changed, ethernet ensures you still have remote access regardless so for schools, uni's and so on it's still very much used. Also dang that webcam looked a lot better, can't tell if it's down to exposure as well from the lighting but looked a lot sharper! all up though looks great, and enjoyed the chill roundup of features and opinions :)
Thanks dude! Education is going to love this new computer! It’s good that you can still get the base model and pay $30 for the Ethernet port for that as well. Don’t HAVE to get the more expensive model. Yeah, my team have been shocked at the quality of the webcam on calls. Let’s hope we see something similar in the MacBooks one day. Appreciate the comment dude! Can’t wait to see more of you videos soon too!
I’ll be plugging mine into Ethernet at home. I find it a more reliable, higher bandwidth connection than wi-fi, even for home use. So anything that isn’t portable is connected to Ethernet in my house, saving the more limited wi-fi bandwidth for portable devices. I guess this becomes more useful in larger households. (I have been on several zoom calls recently where a friend’s video froze when someone else in the house started a video on another device on the same wi-fi network. I guess more wi-fi hot spots can fix this, but wired connections just seem more effective.)
I've ordered the silver one, too, and I was a little worried it might look a bit bland. But after seeing this video I think it should be just fine. I ordered the one with the VESA mount, so I'll be able to adjust the hight quite easily. (Now I just have to wait 5 weeks for it to arrive!)
Great choice on the vesa mount option. As I mentioned, it wasn’t great for posture on my desk so a vesa really does take care of that. Hope you love it when it arrives 👏🏼
They probably avoid that this time around with the 27” still on sale 👀 would have killed off what is still an awesome computer for more graphic intense work ☺️
2:26 Will Apple ever make a tablet that big that runs Mac-OS? It would make sense thin like that, as a desktop computer I consider it a bad design. Apple's "it is thin" obsession does not make any sense in a computer, it only has disadvantage, no connectors at the backside because of thinness, no in- built power adapter, it repeates the mistakes of former "design computers" like the Mac Cube. I also do not like the glossy chin without the big Apple logo, and the pastel colors would please young women, but for guys? They should have offered at least one serious color with brushed alu chin and black bezels. On a more positive note: the mics on the new iMac are excellent in terms of sound quality!
Hi Dean. As you can probably tell, I’ve been on Mac for over 15 years now. For my work and what I need out of a computer, the Mac has always been the go to. I’d be hard pressed to find a all in one PC with this great screen and performance, at this price. But, I would be loved to proven wrong to check it out ☺️🤟🏼
I don't like it, more cons than pros and the design is weird with white edges and no Apple logo. What is this, a large screen iPad? No ports, no backlit keyboard, bad mouse etc. And you have to pay 200 more to get the same type of CPU as in the 615 dollar Mac Mini (Amazon price)
