It's because now windows is better at everything so it's they can't make commercials like this. Macs can get viruses now and also you cannot game on Mac. Every game on steam is for only windows and also macs are just way to overpriced for the power you get
I'm 30 and I could argue for days about this topic. One thing Apple fanboys have to learn is, opinions become invalid when counter arguments are based on facts! The second thing Apple fanboys should learn is, stop regurgitating marketing nonsens Apple tells them.
Mac literally forces you to use something with the same design and hardware while Windows (And Linux) allows you to choose your own hardware without doing a thing called hackintosh
The registry, dll hell and activation thing are all I agree with, but features is another story, Apple on the other hand has been able to paywall every single simple thing for example to get an application that does something (let's say cute videos or play music or copy text or screenshots or edit images etc) in Apple there is no way on hell you get any usable stuff on their apple store for free, while with Windows at-least you will find around 5 good applications for free and a lot of other usable ones. Sure there are applications for Windows that need to be paid for but atleast there are almost similar free software out there. Secondly Apple as a company both develops the hardware and the software so they are able to keep people hooked to the same device, ui for years and years and optimize the UI smoothness and other factors way better, Microsoft on the other hand is providing what is called software as in OS - WIndows so they have to ensure it runs on N number of different pieces of hardware and therefore people are free to choose from and customize what their PC is meant for.
It kinda flipped at 3:29 with the magnetic charger and now on a surface, you can charge it with a USB c or a MAGNETIC Surface charger. Also at 5:00 Microsoft was the reason that Apple is still going
macOS is pretty good for what it is I can also see why people hate windows but the only problem is I can build a desktop that can do all the same things that MacBooks and iMacs can do and have it be cheaper than both
That really frustrated me when I was a windows user it always asked me to activate windows all the time it drove me crazy. I never have this issue on macOS it's as simple as installing the os setting it up and your good to go (if you have a Mac of course)
Its funny how my old pc from that era that "mac guy" is saying is slow and stuff is still faster right now than my friends' way newer Macs' (mine is 2009, and the macs are like 2014-20xx, Lol)
Same for me, build my first gaming desktop around my 18 birthday in 2009. Back than it had an I7-920, 8GB of DDR3, 1TB HDD and an GTX260 GPU. I upgraded some components over the years, increased RAM to 20GB and added an 250GB sata SSD. Upgraded the GTX260 with a GTX650TI in 2013 and later an GTX980 in 2016. I kept the I7-920 CPU, as it performed more than good enough for almost all tasks I used it for (except video editing). I left that desktop in my old room at my parents house, to have something to game on whenever I visit them during holidays. It runs Far Cry 5 and Anno 1800 at 30-45 FPS in 4K resolution without to much stuttering. Yes a new gaming rig would perform better, but why invest 1500 USD in something I would only use 1 month a year.
I find that hard to believe, I’ve had a few windows laptops and they always got really slow after 2-3 years. Bought a MacBook Pro in 2016 and it still runs very well
Run windows on Mac now you can do everything you want on a mac Linux witch can run windows programs on wine and is more secure and open source hold my bear
My MacBook randomly stopped processing videos, wouldn’t install other software and I tried reformatting which didn’t fix anything. Must have been hardware fault
real high tech work on linux, 80% on windows ( it works in all(most) hardware), 10% are professional that need some especial machine.... the rest is status people....OHHH look i have a MAC. it cant not repair.. (well Luis can do it :), only replace, ohhh it doenst alow to upgrade ( buy new one), do not have free soft ( all/(most) payed), f* expensive... last 10 years is all about marketing, nothing else, only M1 have some new update to a oldies....
@@Yessir1506 Man before getting to know the company don't judge it in the 1990s people wanted to use computers for office and developer purposes so apple didn't have microsoft office in it and people stopped buying it and when apple was about to die microsoft contacted Steve Jobs and put microsoft office in apple computer and microsoft invested $150,000,000 in apple thats how microsoft saved apple and now also to appreciate microsoft apple still put microsoft office in their devices and windows also has its own OS own browser that is microsoft Edge and contains with touch devices apples got not touchscreen devices except ipad and iPhone this proves microsoft and android in every way than apple its the American brand that's why people like apple or its a tiny piece of poop
With the surface Microsoft has beaten Apple in their own game, receiving the lowest repair-ability score possible. How can you call mass-produced glued together e-waste awesome?
@@doodlememes Big corporations are only interested in profit, nothing else! It's no coincidence that so many big corporations are suddenly "pro right to repair", about 6 months after the Framework laptop got released. A laptop that scored an Ifixit repair-ability score of 10/10. For comparison: the surface laptop 1 scored 0/10, the surface laptop 3 scored 5/10. Framework also agreed upon sharing their PCB-schematics with repairs-shops, I'm fairly sure Microsoft won't share their surface laptop schematics with anyone. Being able to open up a device is only part of the equation, having access to the right documentation and replacement parts to actually fix it, that's the solution to the problem. It's possible that the "surface laptop se" scores higher than 5/10, but I'm convinced that's only in response to the Framework laptop. Multiple bigger corporations have recently been trying to overwhelm the end-user with "more repairable devices", to obfuscate the existence of real repairable devices. It's those big players together competing against a small new player in their backyard, trying to bankrupt it. Repairable devices would vanish as fast as they appeared, would the big players win this tactical game.
Windows 12: must be online all the time, is now a subscription, have to pay for edge just to download another browser, subscription for a desktop office suite, etc.
"I truly hate MS from the deepest of my heart" - I do too. I've lost count how many times I've had to restart my (work) PC because it won't let me delete a file or folder. It tells me that it's in use or being used by another user (which it isn't), so can't be deleted but once restarted, it will let me delete it... then I have to open up all of the work that I had open before I had to restart.
The only arguments crybaby fanboys have against Apple at this point are: 1. Money - because your time is completely worthless and you're broke! 2. Choice - Yes, the glorious PC world "allows you" the great privelege of CHOOSING which shitty substandard hardware you get to troubleshoot. Much liberty. Wow freedom. If you can't recognize game then you never had any to begin with. 3*. You have no choice because you're using software that's only available for Windows (e.g. me, because of engineering software). What a ringing endorsement!
If you want to use a crappy UI and a system which can't even run games, use Mac Mac is for kids However if you want be a tech insider, gamer, and if you are an experimental guy who likes to modify, personalise your PC, become a Windows user Windows is for the pros
Apologies, but you are wrong. In all serious manner and with all my respects due I can say that Mac is good for everything. Mac can in fact run games and some macs are in fact with a GPU (like the 2014 Mac which actually runs games amazing). From a technical side point, Macs can be used at their max as Mac OS is made to run on Apple hardware. Furthermore, saying "Mac is for kids" is pretty salty as hundreds of grown ups and developers prefer Macs. Oh, and Windows has shit driver support, if you have a 100 MBPS network and run Linux or Mac on your PC than you will likely get it all, but if you run Windows you are probs going to get like 50-70.
Apple is eternally the most professional and useful tech company in the world. other company’s have no competition and people that say otherwise are in denial.
windows is prone to viruses and malware. Macs rarely get viruses. plus being in the apple ecosystem is better for business, education and personal use. Its nice to have all your information synced between multiple devices for easier access and convince.
@@rudyrodriguez9935 bro, stop defending a complex software. With windows its easier to use, do business, play and download games, transfer files easily, user friendly, plus dont mac use windows own microsoft. Whats the deal, how is mac better. Germs head!!
Complex software? you're kidding right? Macs are so easy to use. Took me less than a few minutes to get the hang of macOS and after using it for more than 2 years now, I'm never going back to shitty windows. Not to mention how atrocious it is to update windows. Plus macOS easily integrates with my other apple devices so I don't have to transfer files at all because iCloud does it automatically for me. Not to mention all the businesses I've been to and schools all use apple devices. You rarely see schools and business using windows devices for a good reason. lol. You lost. Windows loses. accept defeat and move on now!
