Thanks for sharing. Just want to add two points. The estimated trade-in price that Apple's partner uses is only based on the "base" version. The 1T storage iPhone will have the same trade-in price as the 128G, and it's the same as the MacBook. So it is no surprise to get 50% off for the fully loaded 2019 MacBook Pro. If you trade in the base version, you only get 28% off. Also, trade-in with checkout saves your state tax. The real credit to your card is the trade-in value plus sales tax that you prepaid for the new machine.

I know it’s frustrating to sell yourself but these mail in programs almost always cut your estimates if the upgraded product isn’t an emergency id try selling locally myself or something. But on the other hand I do understand sometimes you want to get it over with and sell right away.

I just received a revised estimate on my iPad Pro from $335.00 to zero. Told it had liquid damage. There was nothing wrong with it. I backed it up to the cloud the day I shipped it. How does that happen? Waiting for it to come back. Returning my 2021 iPad Pro to the store because I don’t trust Apple shipping returns now that I realize the trade in program is a sham. Also my MacBook Pro keyboard broke a year ago and I have a janky azz wireless keyboard velcroed over the old one. Certainly not getting the new one for 2500.00. No thanks. And the new color of the iMac. This isn’t wanna land. I love their operating systems but their a bit shady on prices and trade-in. Bummerville

About to get used Macbook M1 and have queries on two things. 1. If I buy Logic for it will I have to buy Logic again when I buy my next apple device. Just asking as I am also going to buy an imac in the next 6 months and don’t want to buy for the Air if I can’t share my purchase over both devices. 2. I will probably trade the Air in once i have an imac and was wondering if Apple will let me do that if I do not have proof of purchase as I will be the second owner

Im looking to buy a new MacBook Pro, here in the next fees days but read online that Apple will be releasing a new MacBook Pro later this year in 2021. If I purchase a MacBook Pro 13” now, and read it in when the latest model comes out. Would I be paying more at the end? Or would it be better just to wait until they release the new MacBook pros?

It feels like apple trade in online is always ripping people off. My trade in kit arrived tomorrow, but I don’t feel like trading in this way anymore.
