Hi Dan 😊 I definitely won't be buying the 16 Pro Max this year, I'm happy with my Pixel 9 Pro XL. However, if they do release a new iPad Mini, I will be getting that for sure for doing my paperwork, the iPad Pro is too big for my needs, had 2 before and ended up selling them. I like the portability of the iPad Mini and I've been waiting for the iPad Mini for ages, there was no point buying the 3 year old model. Hope you're well Dan? I’m on iPhone Xs and don’t see any compelling reason to upgrade with these unexciting incremental upgrades. I think I can drag it out to iPhone 20 and hopefully by then, Apple will come up with something really new and useful.

Maybe if Apple updated the Airpod Max headphones people would buy them. I've been holding out on replacing my Bose headphones waiting for the Max's to be updated for two years now. If they don't make any real improvements on this update I'll just go with another brand at this point.

I'm not excited about anything for this event really. iPhones are boring: there is no innovation in adding a button and larger, heavier size is more of a downgrade to me. I wish Apple could release airpods pro or max that can compete with Sony's headphones and earphones. For now, the audio quality, connectivity (and weight in case of aiprods max) are superior on the Sony

the audio quality in the air pods max is superior to the Sony xm5 in most situations though. It sounds more spacious and detailed and is more neutral in its sound profile (though you can EQ the sonys in the app). Dont get me wrong, it doesn't justify the significant price gap, or the second class citizen experience on android, just thought i'd say this.

@@Askellad101 the AirPods are amazing!! If you take the amazing audio quality plus apples lossless audio you get outstanding quality. And even if people don’t want to spend money of AirPods you can still get wired EarPods for 15 dollars and are also great 😊 . I’m sad to see how so many people take for granted all the great technologies we have available in our market . So much whining. This isn’t aimed at you of course . Just saying

Imagine if Apple made an Apple projector that interacts like a smart tv, with special audio and in a slim compact size and it wirelessly connects to your apple devices. I mean it does glow up, and to be honest we don’t really watch much tv and something like that can become a teaching device with the benefit of Apple intelligence. And with what they have learned with their Apple vision , studying let’s say surgery can become more enjoyable and accessible to people that wants to be doctors compared to actual brick and mortar schools.

I am disappointed that Apple hasn’t improved its voice to text capabilities across its products. I find this requirement, especially true when you have an Apple Vision Pro. I would expect the absence of words that you don’t want to see. I would expect much better editing capabilities as well. An example would be the capability to say “replace the word in the third sentence of the second paragraph with collaborative versus competitive.”

The Ultra 3 will almost certainly have the new SOC (possibly 3nm) and new low power OLED display. These two updates are pretty minor so it's a bit disappointing but honestly, battery life is the main thing I want them to improve since the rest of the watch is spot on. A 3nm SOC and low power OLED will hopefully push the battery life a bit further. I'm still rocking the Ultra 1 and while I love it, I do wish it could go 5+ days between charges so I can go away for a long weekend and not need to worry about battery life.

So the Pixel 8A is $499 with 128GBS of Storage, 1400 nit brightness, 120 HZ display and better battery. The cameras are so similar to the 15, and upcoming base 16. Since IOS 18 has RCS now, why pay $800 or $700 for the 16 or 15, when theres better options out there? Now that RCS is here its time to move on from Apple until they release something new again.

Having brought every Apple flagship from 1 to 15, No more this phone as nearly stayed the same for more than 5 years now and they have got to the point of ripping people off each year. Considering some smaller companies already have foldable phones it’s makes you wonder while Apple can’t seen to get there, And before some say it’s coming it always is with Apple but unfortunately 5-7 late. The new build of the Google pro fold is on par or better than the build of the iPhone which must be of a concern to Apple

Yeah ,lower than the 14 should probably upgrade ,but you can wait till next 17's for more if you want. But if you wanted to upgrade ,and you want to have the benefits of it being 16 , i would suggets either one of the pros ,since Apple cuts back on alot of the features on the non-pros for marketing reasons for some reason.

Apple isn’t forcing people to upgrade to the new iPhones, iOS isn’t as RAM intensive as Android is so iPhones have never needed as much RAM due to iOS being far more lightweight but Apple Intelligence has changed that now.
