Apple USB-C to SD Card Reader Review - An Absolute Must!! 

This review is for an item I consider a must have for every Mac user: the Apple USB-C to SD Card Reader. You cannot get away from having to read to write to a such cards. Macs do not have bulit-in SD card readers, which makes this adapter so essential. While docking stations or port-expanders usually include SD card readers, they are usually overkill when all that is needed it to quickly access the card.
The Apple adapter fills that void quite nicely. Yes, it cost more than other readers, but you do not want to risk going cheap with anything you connect to your Apple hardware. In the case of this adapter, which I got new in the box, I got it on Mercari for just over $11. Otherwise, you're looking at $39.00 + tax at the Apple Store. Link below:
