Watching movies & having multiple screens is going to be fun on this device.

This is so freaking cool. ONLY Apple could conceive of, engineer, industrial design, manufacture, box and sell such an evolved product. Nothing else comes close. How many times did I have the discussion with PC users regarding why Apples’ industrial design imperative was an essential part of what made them better. From the very opening of the main box, an event is taking place. Carefully curated - step by step. Masterful! Brian’s reaction is delightful. To all those who would pay twice as much for a TS concert or NFL game, who are still carping about the price - just stop please. If you can’t afford it, don’t buy it. Or save your penny’s, until you can. Getting very tired. Brian’s enthusiasm is a refreshing in the context of the jaded world we and many Apple commentators live it. Full disclosure: ex Apple retail employee and I can tell you that, although not without fault, Apple tries to do it almost uniquely right. The average customer gets better service buying a $200 item than many buying $60,000 cars. And that’s because the employees believe in the product and ethos they represent. Of course Apples’ not perfect, but this new product shows that they strive to produce and deliver the very best new products and experiences that they can.

Can the headset support structure inside the travel case be removed?

You and a couple of others understood and discussed the importance of this moment. Win, lose or draw Apple has introduced another groundbreaking, completely unique UI with its own OS! Reviewers are stuck in Laptop Land, unable to pivot, instead whining about storage capacity and device weight while refusing to discuss the more recently introduced technology. Did any explain how Apple appears to have overcome one of the major challenges facing other headsets-motion sickness and latency. I look forward to hearing the positive and negative aspects that you share from your testing!

Brian do you think the latency time factor with eye and gesture movement is good enough to use it in rapid trade buy sell sessions … faster than traditional methods .. I poised This question to an Apple manager and he was ensure what’s your opinion on this matter I’m curious :-)

Great & enjoyable unboxing video but I just wish you would edit out little mistakes to shorten runtime, like forgetting the light band, and wish you wouldn't hide things off the table because then you forget to put the dual band in the travel box. Still A+ though, Brian. :)

What I’m most curious about is, can you use the USB-C port on the battery to connect USB accessories, or is it just for power?

Having ridged sides means it will be a bear to travel with. A shame they did not make them foldable.

Soon, they will be getting the same attention as forgotten ski goggles.
