It seems cheap at first, and " a wanting to save money" idea, but i support it 100 percent. I have at least ten cables and bricks in a drawer, most of the time you would need two or three at most at a time. Good for Apple, it's good for the environment and if it saves them money along the way i say go for it
I mean to be completely honest, the adapter that would have come with this product would probably be that super crappy 5w charger anyway. You dont have anything else to use it for since, considering you can afford an apple watch, you probably have an iPhone that supports fast charging or any more recent android phone for that matter. There is also the option to replace all your chargers with a single, super strong one with multiple outputs and use that to charge all your devices. When i first heard of ccargers not included in the box, i was like *those* people "Oh its a dumb move. Oh, with the next iPhone, you wont even get the phone itself" etc etc. But i gave it a second thought, and i think its very logical.
@@shanghainese7198 even its still a bad move. imagine receiving the watch as a gift without charger, how would you request it. these are things people expect in a box like phone chargers. not everyone has apple store in their city or country and can easily request and receive a charger.
Apple: "Yeah, we're not gonna make the wall adapters anymore to save the environment" Also Apple: *puts all their product components in individual packaging which are packaged inside shared box packaging which are again packaged in boxes and sealed with plastic*
exactly, remove charger because environment but stuff all unnecessary documents in nicely packed container sleeve and wrap the box in plastic because hey one time unboxing experience is so much more important than a charging brick and RIP environment🤷♂️
Yeah, but they would not include the actual juice inside the carton, that would be sold separately or you would get actual apples inside if you wanted to save some money, but you would have to squeeze them yourself if you wanted Apple juice. But for just 20$ extra, you can have actual juice, no bullshit no fuss, for 120$.
Apple watch series 8. Tim Cook : This year, we are doubling down on saving the environment. You ONLY get the cable. You can simply use your existing watch.
HOLY HOLY!!! I can proudly say that I have the two HOTTEST women on this planet as MY GIRLFRIENDS! I am the unprettiest RU-vidr ever, but they love me for what's inside! Thanks for listening avi
@JayySur Where did the cable come in middle? They are just not shipping the brick, cable will be shipped, so they are not taking money from u. And as far the question goes of lightning port causing environment issues, sure it does, but don't worry, Wireless Charger is future, and The Cable will die not this year but some year
yes not giving charging brick which is something that people use is saving environment but wrap the box in plastic and give all unnecessary documentation in a nice container sleeve because hey we all know how much important unboxing is compared to env. 🤣😅
@@reynardrouser7863 Apple isn't a trillion dollar company by being generous. All of their products are disposable. A wired headphone will last more than airpods. Apple is a corrupt company
“when are they going to make a circle” i think you’re on the right track, but i think you’re in the wrong mindset: when are they going to make a triangle??
@@KayJune No, but I saw a comment of someone in that field saying it should only rly be used for a general idea, in other words it’s not accurate enough to be taken very seriously
@@tottalytoast7394 that’s even more weird 😂.. do you do that with clothing too? I bet you do. When you were a kid I bet you did that with crayons too. Lol
Speaking of which, and speaking of "when…", when are they (Apple, probably, or 3rd party, possibly) going to offer a band that allows you to wear the watch (body) on a selected digit? Your pinky, for example. Or your thumb. It _is_ a digital watch, folks… I imagine the band would a precious metal, at base, with a transition to the material currently at the anchor points on the back of the watch. I'd expect the ability to rotate the body relative to the band through a full circle in say, 5° increments. I imagine it would also be useful to offset the pivot axis away from the areal center of the watch body (IOW, allow the mass of the watch body to lie not on a diameter of the ring, but along a chord of it, to open the possibility of a hand- or wrist-flip to bring the watch face into direct view of the wearer).
@@michaelthibault7930 Well, actually its not that simple. LCD displays use a lot of electricity. Apple can already barely use a 500 mAh battery in their watches. If it were to be a smaller size, then it probably would be a device similar to a Fit-Bit without a display. I estimate that the battery inside would be rated around 20-80 mAh. Compare that to the 500 mAh batteries in Apple watches and/or the almost 4000 mAh battery in the iPhone pro max. If apple did do this, it would : Probably not have a display like the original watches, but probably a battery gauge consisting of 3 LEDs, like the ones on some beats solo 3s. It would most likely have simple features, such as Sleep Tracking, Pedometer (for steps and for calories burnt, maybe even fall detection) and a gyroscope and accelorometer (for more accurate calorie measurements, and to determine the briskness of your exercise) and a simple CPU. You'd probably need to access this data on your iPhone. But I'd rather have a watch than a "Smart Ring". And it would be too small for ECG functionality, the most would be heart rate. But that'd burn through the ring's battery too fast. And I think it would also be too small for standard Wireless Charging, so it'd most likely use a lightning connector. *tHanKs fOr rEadInG thIs*
@@editoons15 I wasn't suggesting a smaller watch body. Read more closely. When you are working with your hands, you're typically looking at them -- except when typing, of course. It seems odd to me that, to use this watch, you need to dedicate one hand (arm) to hold it in relation to the other hand, only one digit of which is required (typically) for interactions. A ring-based watch would allow a single limb, and a single hand, to operate the watch (beyond glancing at its face).
@@manikantansrinivasan5261 still not.. it's just fashion preference.. some people like matching the color, some don't. Nothing wrong with either of them, just their personal preference.
@@pokesportxyz5191 they only put the processor. they didnt put iphone 11 cameras, display etc, so not complete internals of iphone 11. i still think its a good value for money phone, only that in this era there is better value for money phones. the se is the only iphone i would say they arent ripping people off.

I’m a Samsung guy but the iPhone Pro 11 and Apple Series 6 Watch have really impressed me. I recently had the Note 9 and Garmin Fenix 5 Plus Saphire. Apple has won me over with the user friendliness and speed of their products after I’ve resisted the buzz. It seems they surpassed Android/Samsung in functionality and capability around 2015 since they adopted many of the android features in the OS and haven’t looked back since. The only thing I prefer on the Garmin is two week battery life and all of the Series 6 features were available on the Fenix 5 plus years ago. Price point was the same. The sleakness of the apple is great though.
I am 69 had a series 5, my mom who is 87 and in pretty good health had a series 3 and my 14 year old, yes I have a 14 year old daughter, had a series 4. I got my mom a series 6 Product Red due to the fall detection, heart rate monitor and blood oxygen monitoring. I upgraded my daughter's to the blue, just because she wanted it, and my wife had recently upgraded to the series 5 and is happy with it. I am a diabetic but still in pretty good health and active and it was very hard for me to decide this time to upgrade to the series 6 but I made the jump this past weekend. I always get the Space Gray aluminum because that is what I like. I have had it for 5 days and can't tell a lot of difference from my series 5 except that the screen looks some brighter, battery seems much better and the oxygen sensor has given me a rating of 100% and 99%. If you are like me and trying to decide I find it better than the series 5 and much better than any series prior to that and I have had every one since the original. Don't know about the SE although would probable be a good upgrade for someone with an early series.
Thanks great explanation ! I have serie 4 grey space and want upgrade to serie 6 but i was undecided.... I will go with serie 6 but in silver this time to change .. thanks and take care you and you mom
Circles are stupid. Once you add lugs onto a round watch you've turned it back into a square watch, just with wasted space. A hand attached to a cog in the gear train in a mechanical watch is the easiest (and laziest) way to represent the hour, and that traces a circle - thats the only reason round watches exist, not because its the best solution. Props for Apple for not blindly copying mechanical watches, cough samsung.
@@jcpg8116 A lot of tech youtubers are getting mock ups with just the plastic case to look at, I can't see microsoft giving review units out for another month or two
The whole price of the device should be subtracted by one unit of charger price as well if they're really bring honest about their sole intention on saving the Earth. However it's still the same price as before, yes they're doing something for environment but they also gained more profit because their profit margin is bigger than before as the charger not included in the box, buy separately. 2 trillion dollars apparently not enough for Apple lol
An hour an half charge everyday is a lot for something supposed to be tracking you around the clock....... I have a low-end Garmin that needs charging about once a week, and also does the blood oxygen saturation thing.... has been around a few years.
Why does Apple continue to include a 'GAY' watchface ??? Who cares what your sexual preference is? I don't feel a need to tell everybody I am having heterosexual relations..... keep sex OUT of your product....period.
