I had the silver aluminum series 4, and now the blue aluminum series 6. At the time, I really wanted the gold stainless s4, but I just couldn’t justify the price. I’d rather get a nice mechanical time piece vs. something that will be obsolete within a few years. It’s just my personal preference. That being said though, I think the blue s6 is by far the sleekest, best looking aluminum watch Apple has ever made! It’s not going to be everyone’s favorite, but it’s so elegant. The one drawback is that it doesn’t go well with as many bands. And for this year’s stainless models the graphite is absolutely the best color!
Haven’t seen it in person but blue is my favorite color! What held me back also is the limitations of band marching and outfit matching. Would love one a second pair lol
@@KaziIslam Unless you’re shining a ton of light on it - like the pics on the Apple site, the blue is much darker looking. I’d say it’s like a deep royal blue / navy. It gives off a more premium look than a standard aluminum Apple Watch, but not the same level as the stainless. I am struggling a bit to find matching bands other than the black solo loop, but I’ll manage. Lol. The graphite stainless model is definitely going to be a good choice when it comes to pairing watch bands!
I've been a Silver Stainless guy since the first Watch. Aside from the look, one of the features is being able to polish it and get back the shine after a year of use on my Series 4. I'm wondering if polishing the Graphite would be possible or are you stuck with the scratches? I love the look of it, but it would drive me crazy not being able to get the scuffs out.
Trace Photo Studio my understanding is you can’t polish the graphite due to its DLC coating. I wouldn’t risk it due to the abrasive nature of polishes. That being said the DLC is supposed to be extremely resistant to scratches
Great look at the colours - I just received my SS AW6 in the gold and I am hesitant to open it! I was gonna get the graphite but not into dark watches - as much as I like your video (new sub too btw) I am now confused!!! I can only return it if its unopened :( Let us know what you decide!
I own the series 4 cooper gold and love it but the current gold is not appealing to me neither. As you said, I don’t feel like I’m upgrading if I get another gold. Not to mention, I don’t like the current gold color and most of my jewelry is white gold. The graphite color resembles Gun metal and it looks absolutely amazing!
I've had luck with amazon for their amazon warehouse used items. Typically the items are in like new condition even when listed otherwise and you save a decent chunk. Still comes with amazon's standard return policy in case you have buyer's remorse or there's any issues with the item. I buy most of my electronics this way, including all my camera gear
I wound up returning my graphite and going back to a gold SS series 5! Both are fantastic though and I could easily have stuck with graphite, and it matches the new phones perfectly
