if you're satisfied with the series 5 I'd say keep it. I had the 5 before going to the 7, its basically the same watch. I think in retrospect I could have stayed on the 5 myself and waited for next year

For your wrist size I think the 41mm is the best bet unless you really like large watches. I’m about 6.6” and the 45 looks about as big as I can go before it’ll look comical

The graphite has grown on me but my favorite is still the series 4 and 5 gold. The new gold is alright but too close to silver

Although I have owned the cellular version for the past 3 or 4 years I never used the cellular option as I’m rarely without my phone nearby. So although it would cost me 10 dollars per month extra I don’t find it worthwhile. Some people like it as an emergency or if they do certain outdoor activities like swimming, running or cycling and do not wish to have their phone on them they’ll have cellular for emergencies. Your mileage will vary but unless you have a specific need you know you can take advantage of I think it’s not worth paying for cellular for majority of people. Ask yourself how often you’re in a situation without it your phone handy and make a decision from there! Hope that helps!

The Milanese I’ve seen can scratch. I’ve had the gold Milanese loop with my previous Gold watches and those did get really tiny micro scratches however I don’t know whether that was from the Milanese band or other normal use. It’s not something I worry about tbh. Are you interested in the band?

@@KaziIslam thanks for the reply. Yea I was thinking to get it, I recently bought 3 apple leather bands they look nice. In the forums people do say that the Milanese band does scratch the case in certain contacts.

@@RoiSultanIsHere yeah I’ve seen the same but tbh the Milanese is still the dressiest combination so I just try to be careful putting it on or off and then just enjoy the watch

I’ve worn the SS watch playing full court basketball, cycling, and running. I’m not much of a weightlifter but it wouldn’t be a problem there either. Basically I don’t think you’ll have any problems. 10 grams is what, about the weight of two US quarter coins? It’s negligible. I will say compared side by side the aluminum feels lighter and like a toy almost. But day to day you’ll just get used to the watch you’re wearing and not notice it. And for reference I always wear the bigger size 44/45mm which is heavier and I’m not a big strong guy

So long story short I’d pick the watch you like the way looks the rest of the 17 hours in the day that you’re not working out as they’ll all be comfortable imo. Hope that helps!

Right let me put this straight to you I was in the same situation and concern also I’ve always had the aluminium Apple watches and desperately wanted it stainless steel for Gym general and workwear and I can tell you from past experience it’s exactly the same do not worry about it go and get the stainless steel and enjoy

it does get minor surface scratches. Since I posted this video I actually returned the graphite color for gold and have been wearing it for 9 months daily. I wear it playing basketball once or twice a week and consider myself moderately active. I do have some very fine scratches that's only visible in direct light. No major dents or deep scratches in both the stainless steel body or the crystal. As far as buffing I believe its only the raw stainless steel color that can be buffed, as the graphite/gold have a coating that will wear aware if you try to polish it.

@@KaziIslam good info my man. Would you still stay with the stainless? Have you had the aluminum before? Do the scratches not bother you? Like to the point of going with a different material?

@@Calbear707trees I’ve had aluminum in the past but tbh I can’t go back. The stainless steel models imo not just look better but are more durable all around. I once dropped an aluminum watch from the side of the sink to a tiled floor and it had a decent dent in it. It’s just a softer metal. The little micro scratches don’t bother me at all and are only visible if you look for it.

It won’t scratch as readily as the silver because it has the color coating

definitely a dark blue and not black. it's especially obvious in bright outdoor lighting

Both are very easy imo. Probably graphite is the easiest to blend in because it’s essentially black

@@eurofightertyphoon7 yeah the complications are different for different watches because of the larger screen sizes. You'll love the series 7 especially upgrading from the 2

you know what, since this video i switched to the gold stainless steel series 7 and i have a lot of micro sratches on that too. Visible under sunlight or bright light. Kind of a shame. Still though i prefer both of these colors over the standard stainless steel! but good luck with your exchange

Is there a specific feature you're hoping to upgrade for Jabir, or just in general you would like a more meaningful upgrade? I think most people were excited about a design change because we're probably reaching the limits of what a tiny device like the watch can do, barring a big leap in battery and health diagnostics tech. So the next thing is more cosmetic/fashion changes. But anyway what would be a next level upgrade for you from the series 4?

@@KaziIslam I somewhat agree to your point that upgrades have sort of reached the peak but I guess there is still room to upgrade the battery a bit more. Also, while I personally don’t have the need for a glucose monitor, it would be great for people like my parents who are diabetic. And I know it is very apple unlike but having a gps only for stainless steel would have great. I am with Fido and I simply dont wanna change carrier just to get a watch plan. On the other side, cant justify paying 300 more just for cosmetics when I wont be able to use the full functionality. Software wise, I don’t see the reason why the watch would be taking 15-25 mins to be set up.

@@jabirmkabir and for glucose monitor it would be similar to the other sensors - not approved for diagnosis but used only as reference. Anyway unless apple surprises with something that we can't imagine i think we might only get these kind of iterative updates. Point being if you are happy with the series 4 you're probably safe to keep it, not much has changed. But after 3 years there's also an accumulation of smaller upgrades - you will get one extra health sensor: blood oxygen sensor, always on display, bigger display (the biggest benefit imo), refreshed battery life. But as usual if you're happy with what you have then stick with it!
