Thank you for the close-ups on the watches. There is no video on youtube that compares the stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium cases or finishes and gets up close to observe the watch's finish, color, or shine. The lighting is usually so bright that I can't tell how the aluminum, stainless steel, or titanium looks; it's craaaaazy. The close-ups are nice.

I had a series 4 black stainless. Traded that into Apple and got the midnight aluminum. Rocked that for a couple weeks but ended up returning that one and got the Graphite Stainless and I am not sad. I LOVE the graphite stainless so much better.

I have the a series 1 Apple Watch and I’m not convinced to upgrade other than that the watch you’re reviewing is absolutely stunning. I love the way that stainless steel shines and how classy it looks. Do you think the sides of the watch will scratch easily?

Steel has always been the way to go with the Apple Watch. And I am willing to die on the hill that the Link Bracelet is by far the best-looking band.

My next Apple Watch will definitely be a stainless steel model. I have an aluminum S4 now, but now I don’t feel like an upgrade is justified.

I always go for the aluminium Apple Watch because the stainless steel is more expensive and heavier on my wrist and the Aluminium is really good for running and where the stainless steel would you be happy on my wrist

I almost regret and hated myself for placing an order for a AW S7 SS in Graphite and not the shining Silver. But after watching your video, I realized I have made the right choice after all (buying Graphite)!

It’s July 2024 and I just bought my wife a brand new Apple Watch Series 7 45mm in Stainless Steel and with Cellular for only $183.00, or here in New Zealand dollars that’s NZ$297.00 - What a bargain! We’re both currently wearing Series 3 watches without Cellular.

I just picked up the same watch and band you reviewed. I’ve owned the original Apple Watch, then the Series 3, Series 5 and now the 7 - all stainless steel. The main difference and reason I select the stainless steel instead of the aluminum is the sapphire display and the included cellular. It does weigh more, but it makes it look and feel more like a traditional watch for me. The downside is that the trade-in value is terrible. Instead of trading in for under $150, I have sold my used watches on eBay or given them to a family member. The stainless steel body also tends to pick up light scratches, but they mostly buff out. My main use cases for the Apple Watch have been Apple Pay, activity tracking and staying more disconnected from my phone (via cellular). I upgraded from the Series 5 to the 7 for the faster charging and the larger / brighter (indoors) display. I now use it for sleep tracking, which I couldn’t do better. I also find the battery life to be a bit better and have more battery left at the end of the day.

Excellent video! That SS Graphite is classy and grown man looking. Although I like all Apple Watches I do feel that a lot of them look too sporty. I mean most of us aren’t athletes, we are in meetings, working white collar jobs etc. The stainless steel is more grown up and professional IMO vs some of the aluminum colors.

I got my Series 7 silver stainless steel yesterday. I came from the Series 6, and for me the extra screen size, brighter always on display are a worthy upgrade. Plus I always like to get a new Apple Watch every year, as the resale value of my old one (which is always in a mint condition) is around three quarters of the price I paid for it, so it means the new Apple Watch hasn't cost me too much. I'm really loving the QWERTY keyboard on the Series 7, which I find works really well, whether using it in typing mode or swipe mode it rarely types the wrong letter. I actually prefer it to the Scribble feature I had on my previous Apple Watch, which in comparison is a lot slower to write with than the QWERTY keyboard of the Series 7. Great vid by the way 👍🏻

I just received my Apple Watch 7 in stainless steel silver and so far I'm a happy camper. Preferred it to the graphite and gold. No regrets so far. I upgraded from a series 3. Figured the time had come!

Man...youre right Pops. That shot of your new S7 Steel with the Green Braided Loop....MAN that's cool. Its seems more casual cool, like a everyday type outfit. But that classic Steel to Steel Milanese Loop.....THAT'S formal wear. I don't need to, because I have the S6 Aluminum Blue 44mm, but DEFINITELY upgrading to the Series 7 Stainless Steel. Not only for the look, but mores for the much stronger glass screen. Tired of rocking screen shields/bumpers to protect the screen. This is ONE Apple device that deserves to just be seen and enjoyed.

SS looks alright but the Ti models are king.

I ordered mine through virizon and I kinda liked the ss but it wouldn’t let add or change bands so I went blue aluminum with abysse blue band. I was feeling pretty good about it until now that ss and band looks clean.

Never had an Apple Watch. I work out a lot and stay active with my family so carrying a phone all day is not ideal. I’ve always wanted to pull the trigger on one but the problem is that my mind wants to spend 850 on graphite but then my wallet is they will coming out with another Apple Watch every other year. Is there an upgrade plan for these so I don’t have to pay full price for the same watch every other year?? I just can’t justify spending 850 every two years on the same product eve though I’m fully capable so somebody else justify it for me lol

The problem is that with a Milanese loop, the compass doesn’t work anymore (90 to 180 degrees off correct orientation).

I love the review and watch, but can I suggest that you try the smaller size next time? Please don’t take this the wrong way. The larger Watch is just too big for your wrist.

I ordered the 45mm silver stainless steel version with the silver stainless steel Milanese loop. Unfortunately mine says it’s been shipped BUT my tracking number hasn’t been updated yet -so frustrating 😒

Back in March 2020 I got my first apple watch. It was the series 3 space grey aluminium gps. and later on, Oct 2020, I upgraded to the series 6 space grey aluminium gps. Now, Jan 18th 2022 I’m gonna upgrade to the graphite stainless steel to match w my iphone 13 pro ss graphite and my macbook pro M1.

Also, glad that California is finally doing something and designing watches.

Hey.bro. Nice video. But i think you wear it wrong. The fold band should at the top not the bottom. Try it. You will feel much easier when you want to watch time.

You just can't compare the stainless is far superior to aluminum....elegant, pro, boss.....the milanese is great to use for those evening occasions, dinner parties, cigar lounge, going to see live music at a bar/lounge.....top notch
