I bought the Space Black Sport version and I absolutely love it. I mainly wear black accessories (rings, earrings, belts, shoes) so it's not a big deal that it's a dark black. I actually love how it looks, especially with the black Leather Loop. The only problem I've had it whenever I want to wear brown leather accessories like a belt and shoes, I have to wear a brown strap. It's rare that I do it, but occasionally I have to. The only brown leather strap I could find online for a reasonable price looks fine EXCEPT the clasp is silver stainless steel. I've found some with black clasps but they were out of my price range. For the price though, I could not be happier with the Black Sport and I'm happy others like it too. It's by far my favorite out of the line, even with the new rose and gold Sport models.
Search Amazon for leather Apple Watch bands you can find great looking ones for under 50 dolllars and they fit great and make the Apple Watch look more expensive.
If you are a person who enjoys quality time pieces than the Space Black Link Bracelet is the way to go. If the Apple Watch is the first watch you have worn in some time, then go with the sport version. The stainless steel in the mid tier model is for watch enthusiast. I wish more reviewers would point this out. Quality watch pieces always retail for high cause of their value over time.
Pleasure bro. But one thing i like in leather loop is its magnetic effect, and i like black leather loop band as i have space grey sports version with black sports band, what do u say?

I've had the Space Gray Sport since the launch in 2015, but always did love the Black Stainless Steel w/ steel link - not for that crazy 1000+ price. Plus it was extremely hard to find back when it first launched in 2015. I happened to look on MicroCenter's site back in March 2017 and saw they were selling the black SS, with link bracelet...for $209.99! Not caring this was a "Series 0" I drove 20 miles are grabbed it. (Few hours later MicroCenter removed the watch and price from the site - turned out it was a major screwup with the price...oops. lol!) It's still my goto watch today, still looks great..yeah it's slower compared to the newer AW's - the upcoming OS5 will not work on this - not a big deal right now.
I like this video. I saw a space black steel Apple Watch recently, and although it looked amazing, I'm happy with my space grey Apple Watch sport with a black leather loop strap - which looks great!

Good video but the problem is that it goes through everything so fast that u can't really have a good look on the watches. Also the lighting is so bad and reflects of the watches and u can't see them properly. It would be good if u make another video of only apple watch sport space grey with the black link bracelet so we can have a better look of it. I got apple watch sport and i was considering buying the black link bracelet.
Keep the videos coming. I think that a smartwatch review channel is a great idea. Comparisons and reviews of Android Wear, Pebble, Samsung and Apple Watches (hardware and software) would be appreciated. And videos for accessories for those watches would be good. Then followup videos for the watches to review reliablity, ease or use and durability would also work.
When you connect the link bracelet to the sport Watch did it feel like you're scratching the Watch? Steel is a tougher than aluminum both are metals and on contact should scratch eachother. I'm gonna buy a link bracelet for my aluminum Watch I'm afraid the steel will scratch the connection part on my watch.
As a cyclist, I should point out that using a stainless steel band with an aluminium case and mixing with sweat could be a bad combination. I've seen enough stuck seat posts and stems in my life to know that these elements do not always go well together.

The sport is a pretty nice watch, one of the best smart watches to date. The steel watch clearly looks better however when comparing the two...its not even close. The sport looks like it could be made of plastic next to the stainless steel.
I was at the Apple Store today and I was informed that the stainless steel bands damage the aluminum watch and are not intended to be used on the aluminum watches. Apple manufacturers, as I was told, consider this damage to be caused by customers and do not warrant the aluminum watch. Any damage done to the watch is the customers fault. There is no information on Apples website to support this claim (when buying the bands alone), but the Apple Store employee was directed to inform customers when choosing to purchase their Apple watch of choice. She specifically gestured in the display that "when you buy this watch - stainless steel - you can use all these bands, but when you buy this watch - sport aluminum watch - you can only use these (all the rubber bands)". I am not sure how accurate this information is at this moment and what people are experiencing with use, but I am inclined to believe her at this point.
I prefer the stainless steal sport 42mm edition becouse of THE shiny stainless staal case but the steanless steal case is proberley just 30$ worth more
