I'm so glad they did a test on dragging the watch with a car.. This is a daily occurrence with my regular watch. For some reason it just attaches itself to the back of my car and wants to go on a joy ride.
What I have learned in this video, 1. Do not accidentally place my Apple Watch in a box full of bolts and shake it 2. Do not cover it in fountain water for more than 10 seconds, 3. Make sure I don't keep dropping the Apple Watch face down multiple times, and 4. Always check that my Apple Watch is not connected to the back of my car when taking road trips.
Yea I did it earlier today after work, with my $14,000 watch edition! Got a few scratches and I'm not satisfied trading it in for a new car tomorrow. 😕

I hate when it gets wrapped around your gear stick and when you try to get out the car you pull the car over and it lands on you that’s my biggest problems
You realize you'll have to charge it right? This still isn't a real world test, since it's on concrete as opposed to a floor you'd have in your house. But you might drop it a few times, like when you change the band, put it on, take it off, and to charge it.
I'm actually relieved that someone took the time to shake their watch in a tub with nuts and bolts. Every morning before work I make sure I take the time to shake my watch for at least ten seconds. I'm glad you are able to accurately show what normal people do on a day to day basis.
My first ever liked video on RU-vid. It brings back so much nostalgia to when I used to be interested in iPhones still. Philip has changed looks wise and content wise a lot in 5 years. It's sad he doesn't make the same kind of videos anymore as he used to make.
Not calling you a liar, but based on the durability of most watches, and the durability I saw in this video, I'm pretty sure you would have to do more than just tap it on the wall.

If it's not a common occurrence to drop a watch because it's attached to your wrist. Then why do u do drop tests for phones since its 2015 and phones are practically attached to everyone's hands 😂😂😂 jokes :):):):)
I really enjoy your videos, and the drop and durability tests that you do. However, the tests lose a lot of credibility when you use the same device over and over again instead of getting a new device in between tests. For example, The scratch test could of had unforeseen consequences to the damage taken during a fall. A consistent control variable (new device) for each test would yield more accurate results. I understand that cost is most likely the reason you do not do this. honestly, your soul must cry every time you drop, scratch or punish any kind of apple product, as they are all expensive, and some of the viewers want the tested device for use or have never had an apple product at all and want one.
You guys do some of the weirdest and craziest tests on many different types of products, but it's very interesting. I'm curious to know, did you trash that one or are you still wearing it at the waterpark so you don't get the new one dirty?
I just purchased the apple watch series 3 42mm GPS silver aluminum edition. Should I also purchase a screen protector and or case? Is so, which ones do you recommend?
I’d rather see a video where you hit your watch on stuff like walls or doors, that’s the realistic way most accidents will occur with this. It’s worn on your wrist, it’s very unlikely to be dropped like that... I’m more worried if smashing my hand against the wall while sleeping (if I wear it at night for sleep tracking and the alarm) is going to shatter or scratch the screen...
My Apple Watch 4 keeps slipping down when I knock my charging stand- the sound it makes when it hits the AirPod part is horrible- I keep mine in a 360 silicon case
