I truly enjoy watching your videos. I cannot describe what it is, but very relaxing and great tone maybe??? I really like the zipper case. I am an Ultra Watch fanboy. I appreciate the recommendations. Keep the recommendations coming.
I have an apple watch 4, I am thinking about upgrading to an ultra. Do you have a recommendation for a band that is exactly like or close to the “one loop” band apple makes? The one that you need to stretch to slide on your wrists, no opening or closing anything. I am using a custom after market one, and i find them extremely comfortable. I just haven’t seen an Ultra with one.
Of course 🙏🏾 as the channel grows I’ll def try to strike that balance and partner with brands I believe in. Can’t see myself just doing it for the check lol
How is the compact charger holding up? Reason I ask is it looks exactly like the Anker version, but Anker is mifi certified and double the price. I wonder if its worth that price tag. Does the one you showed fast charge?
High quality video! I just went through all of your band videos but I couldn’t find the one that’s in the intro of this, the gray and blue one! Which one is that?
That first watchband pops off way too easily. It would be nice if it was like a high-quality watch wrist metal band. Where it has a clasp where you have to slip your hand into it. But having a watch band that pops off that easily isn’t a good idea for such an expensive watch.
Another great video. Might have to check out these bands. Also that case looks dope. And you are correct the “knock-offs” never include a quality zipper 😂
I bought the ultra 2 titanium with magnetic band and I wanted to love it so bad, but it squeaked whenever I moved my wrist (I'm guessing because of the pins) and whenever I received a notification it made a terrible vibrating sound like the links were loose, it made it sound really cheap. I only had it 3 days and it was starting to scratch on the bottom. It sucks because I really really wanted to love this band.. Are you seeing any of this issues?
I couldn’t test the previous magnetic band as much because it didn’t fit me but I thought it was cool enough to recommend. I’ll test the vibration specifically today and get back to you but I haven’t heard any squeaks from normal wrist movement with this new band
Alright I tested it with max vibration on for notifications. There is no squeak with normal movement so no worries there. When it vibrates you can hear the links rattle but I would say it’s a squeak
Hi Courtney, your videos have been super helpful and I have often appreciated your take on matters related to the Apple Watch Ultra. Thanks for all the work you put into that. Quick questions…I’m thinking about the magnetic band in this video, but I’ve been hearing from some others that the band randomly falls off causing the watch to fall to the ground. I know you said the magnets are not as strong as you like, but do the locking mechanism stop this from happening? Have you had any issues with the band coming undone randomly? Also for this magnetic band I noted the website says it goes from 26mm at watch to 22mm at magnet clasp. Would you say that this still has the wider look that better matches the bigger ultra or do you think it still looks too narrow since it goes down to 22mm? Does that make sense what I’m asking? Regardless thanks for the great videos and all the fantastic work you put into making it look and sound so great
Hey thanks for supporting the content, the 26 to 22 taper still looks like it fits the ultra’s size because it’s wide where it needs to be and thinner around the buckle which makes it easier to bend your wrist so win win. And the 2 button lock keeps it secure so no need to worry about it falling off
You know the straps with magnetic clasps buggers up the compass? The compass is a big deal on the Apple Watch Ultra. I know from personal experience and now Apple admit this.
That’s not the official Milanese loop from apple that’s aftermarket band. The apple Milanese loop doesn’t have an extra strap holding the band together. I have one and it cost 100$, expensive band.
There’s a big gap on the right side between the glass and the titanium frame which is a production defect. I have returned 3 watches one after the other.
I don’t think you’ve tried the KULUZE Titanium Metal band yet man. It’s chunkier and the links look much more separate-like a genuine bracelet band. The one featured here just look so fake the way the smaller side links are connected to the central larger links. Give KULUZE a try!
Lol which one? The one with the orange tab? All of these bands have been featured in one of the last 7 videos about watch bands. Lmk which one you like and I’ll direct you to that video
Hey FBF, it’s been w while since I responded to one of your posts, but I love a nice band. I bought at least 5 bands for my Ultra2 2 and by far my favorite is the Spigen newer model that you shared on your last band post (I forget the exact model). I liked it first Titanium band you featured for $120.00, but now I’m paranoid that Apple is going to kill this style band and make a model that is magnetic I believe. If it doesn’t come out next year, it will be in 2025. I like the variety so spending $120.00 on 1 band is tough for me mentally. I think I’d have to take 6 links out if you took out two, I’m a pretty big guy, but your paws are like tennis racketet sized compared to mine, ok just kidding. Most importantly, Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Haha @ the tennis rackets, $120 is a tough pill to swallow for sure. Hopefully Apple brings more variety to their Ultra band lineup so far it’s all been activity based, rightfully so. Merry Christmas to you and yours as well!!
Putting a metal bracelet on a smart watch is simply a dumb move. You want that watch fixed on your wrist and not moving around. And it's called a strap ffs, not a band.
