I went ahead and purchased the black one yesterday. It is really light weight and I hardly feel it at all on my wrist. Clasp is great as it really secure and no fear of the watch falling off. Highly recommend if you love the look.

Been loving this band honestly. I forget it’s on sometimes because it’s so light weight even on the ultra. And it doesn’t pull hairs like the old milenese one does

Good to hear about the pulling hairs!!! That was my biggest worry lol as someone who had the gold one from Series 4 stainless steel. I stopped wearing it because of that.

Got my Titan Milanese bracelet on Friday with my black Ultra 2. It's just stunning. I think all the Ultra watch bands are very cool. My favorite is the Titan Milanese, then the Alpine Loop followed by Trail and Ocean Loop. I can also recommend the Apple link bracelet in space black, for the black Apple Watch Ultra 2. ✌🏻

Great video! A couple things. Apples link band doesn’t have pins, it’s a push button style inside the band. Also, tip for installing the milenese band. Only put one side of the band halfway into the watch and then put the other side in. It goes in much smoother.

Coating question for anyone who might know the answer. In the Apple event they stated "Diamond Like Carbon PVD coating". (PVD being Physical Vapour Deposition). From what I know DLC and PVD are similar but different bonding methods using different coating materials. DLC being more expensive, more difficult to apply and colour limiting but double harness at 8000 vickers, PVD is cheaper, easier to apply and comes in different colours but with a hardness of 2-3000 vickers. Now not to cheapskate Apple, 2-3000 vickers is still good and both Rolex & Breitling use PVD, whereas Panerai, Audemars Piguet and Omega use DLC . All of these are way more expensive than Apple. Anyone seen anything that states what the vickers hardness is or how/why Apple are referencing DLC,PVD in the same sentence.

I had a similar question as I have a mechanical engineering background. From what I understand they used a PVD process to apply a DLC coating. So they used the physical vapor disposition process but used Carbon during that process to achieve a DLC coating.

I should have showed that in this video. It looks great! Though there is a slight difference in the finish as the jet black model is glossy and this band is matte.

Ocean band is still more comfortable in my opinion but I'm partial to silcone bands. This one is metal so it feels metal but it's still quite comfortable.

Correct, but you don’t get another bracelet. So if, for example, you wanted to buy a trail loop, that’s $100 - meaning either way you’re out $200 to have a “regular” band and the Milanese loop.

@@weswanders well if you buy an alpine loop that’s $100 but I get most of mine off of Amazon got 15 Alpine loops with the other bands for 40 bucks so I think the better value is to get the Milanese with the watch imo
