I've owned just about every model of Apple Watch and the Watch Ultra released in 2022 easily became my favorite due to the large size, extra buttons, and advanced outdoor and training functionality.
watchOS continues to get better and for the past month I've been using watchOS 11 beta on the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Check out my video for all of my thoughts and see my excitement for what is to come from Apple.

Will using Siri on the ultra 2 with watch os11 activate on the edges like with the latest iOS Siri update for iPhone 15 pro max?

I’m on 11 Beta 7 and Siri still appears as a glowing dot at the bottom of the display. We will see what happens with the final release.

Hi sir, why my ultra 2 cannot update to beta 11, while I am using ios 18 with 15 promax 😢

Did you already go into the Watch app on your iPhone? Go to General>Software Update and then choose one of the Beta Update options. I JUST received watchOS 11 Beta 6 for Developers and I am downloading it now.

Great video!! What map app are you using to get the voice turn by turn navigation on the watch ultra 2?

Thanks for watching and asking the question. The voice-guided turn-by-turn guidance appears in Apple Maps itself. You first find a supported US National Park, in my situation it was for Mount Rainier in Washington State, and then on your iPhone you select to download that park map to your phone and Apple Watch running watchOS 11. The trail maps will then be there on your watch and you can use them to follow the trails on hikes.

Thank you for your quick detailed response. I am currently a samsung android user but next month (Sept)I will be changing ecosystems. Iphone 16 paired with the apple watch ultra 3. You were the first video I have seen talking about any ultra being able to do turn by turn navigation. Thx again
