There are rumors of a new Apple Pencil that can color match. An optical sensor would work perfectly with the Vision Pro like you described. I’m interested in the mini and studio but if the high end is too far out will probably just grab an Air.

it's not about the looks but the privacy and security settings..the live widgets on lockscreen, shareplay esp sharing contacts and so on..,the experience if you have other apple products and friends/family with apple products

design is not just physical look but how it works...the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. That's why old apple products still looks like the new ones and that's great for users...even app tracking transparency, hiding email address using unlimited emails created by apple so you wont be tracked...and so on

Unfortunately Apple/zeise have decided I do not get a Vision Pro as they choose not to offer lenses in my prescription (no prism, just more diopters than they want to deal with. They should offer the frames so I can have a lab make them for me.

I think it's too early for that. My guess is they will wait for the M4 that will most likely include Thunderbolt 5. With Thunderbolt 5, they can offer 120Hz displays at 5k resolution or more. So 2025 might be a good guess for an updated Studio Display....

If Apple wants to make a splash in 2024/2025 (admit it, home robotics are stupid) they should start an airline (Apple Air), buy Joby!, and OWN the electric air-taxi market. They could scale the operations when and where they wanted, and it would be relatively safe from a disaster standpoint in that only a few would be onboard if a crash were to happen.

I am a dedicated iPad user with both the 12.9 and 11 Pro models, M1 chip. I skipped the M2 chip update as it really had no benefit for me, and am starting to think Apple are taking us for fools. It is clear they are so focussed on AI that the iPad has slipped. I am already so unhappy they have done nothing with updating displays that I bought an LG 32” 4K UHD for my MBA M2, and it is beautiful. But I do feel Apple are losing their advantage with tablets. Simply moving the camera, updating the screen, and adding an improved AI experience should not have caused them to miss a release date in March.

If you just have to use AI on a smartphone I would think that an Android is your best option because the Google engine is much more powerful than Siri will ever be.
