Me and my ex went to Olive Garden once. Our food came with the choice of all you can eat salad or soup, she got the salad I got the soup. If you've ever been to Olive Garden you know the salad comes in a huge Bowl, so she asked me to help her eat some. when the waiter walked by and noticed he said I couldn't eat anymore or I was going to have to pay for salad as well. Said we couldn't share🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

She should've said "all you can eat" could be hypothetical. Like she COULD'VE technically ate everything by herself if she was there for the entire day, but instead decided to share some of the food with her family. There's nothing that says that she has to actually eat everything herself. Just that she "can" eat it meaning she has the potential to it. "Can" isn't specific enough because it doesn't specify actually eating the food vs the potential of how much food you can eat, nor does it indicate that others can't eat the food too. "All you can actually consume by yourself in one sitting" is more accurate.

When I was a kid my mother and father prepared meals at home every single day and eating out was a treat and on birthdays it was a luxury. People who are complaining about how much it costs to eat out nowadays and why they don't have any money left over are the people that are too lazy to cook at home and want everything instantly. Learning how to cook and eating at home is not only less expensive but the food tastes so much better and you can eat a lot more for less money. Perfect example... I wanted a Greek salad the other day so I went online and priced one at a restaurant nearby. The Greek salad cost $11.95 for one salad. I Wrote down the list of ingredients and then when directly to the grocery store. I spent less than $10 and with that I was able to make six of the same size salads that they were trying to sell for $11.95 each. And these were large sized salads.
