I’m like Mary lol my store only has the apple spray and not the body cream so I called around and asked if they had the scent Apple number 3 in the body cream and they said yes they did not correct me lol so I was happy to find it so I got both the spray and the cream. Probably in the mid 90s somewhere there used to be a nice Apple scented perfume that was called Jessica McClintock that was sold like at the nicer stores at the mall. I don’t know how it compares to this Apple, but it was nice I remember liking it. That was so long, so I’m thinking they don’t salad anymore.

I remember Country Apple as having a kind of creaminess to its scent which I know sounds wtf but i dont mean vanilla or anything like that, but something about it made it such a lovely appley scent without being a waxy apple or a crafts store apple. It was perfect! I miss it - and i miss VS Enchanted Apple too! 🍎 which was a better perfumey take on the apple imo. I want to try the new Apple Rush. Idk why i hate Beautiful Day, gives me a headache bad, reminds me of gingham maybe a freesia note? Love new Apple though.
Apple I believe is a repackage of Pink Tie Dye. I have both and did a comparison and they smell almost identical only Pink Tie Dye is a bit sweeter and I think that’s because of pink lady apple note vs. The green apple note in apple but both basically smell the same to my nose. Edit: Apple pairs great with dressed in white😉
Hi Mary! I did pick up Apple in just the mist so far. Yes, many have been confused. It's supposed to be a 3 step routine. I do not get strawberry either. Yes! Totally reminds me of Salon Selectives and yes it's still being sold. However, Salon Selectives does not smell the same as it used to in my opinion. Apple is not a tart green apple to me like Beautiful Day which I've seen many compare Apple to. I have picked up Beautiful Day last year in 2023 in the blue faceted bottle. She is gorgeous and yes I remember the green apple packaging. She is one of favorite apple fragrances. There are different type of apples and Apple to me smells like an Ambrosia Apple which is a sweeter apple. To my nose, she is closer to Country Apple or Sweet Apple. Yes, Country Apple smells different to me now. I think Apple is good to layer with other fragrances.
@@crafting_after_midnight4154I just tried this combo and it’s so light, sweet and fresh! I loved it. I also tried it with jolly gingerbread village too. Yum yummy! I don’t get any of the strawberry. But this reminded me of my childhood, specifically the Winnie the Pooh shampoos. 😊❤
I’m not the biggest Beautiful Day fan, but I did get it in that blue/green ombre faceted packaging from last year just because it was so gorgeous. I like the new Apple scent in the shampoo. I think it is because it smells “shampooey,” aka Salon Selectives.
After the first spritz of the Apple mist, I immediately thought of a refreshing apple shampoo scent. Since I wasn't completely sold on it, I only bought the body cream to use after a shower. 😊
I bought this in the mist, cream, shampoo and conditioner. I really like it and use it when I want to feel fresh and clean. I’ll layer them all together and in the shower also use my Suave Juicy 🍏 shower gel. After I layer all these with VS pop jelly’s fresh and clean and top it with DKNY Be Delicious! I smell fresh and clean all day!
Hey Girl, I just smelled this scent yesterday and the only scent I smelled was the Apple. I didn't get it yet because I'm waiting for the Shampoo and Conditioner and SAS sale. Did you get the Shampoo and Conditioner yet, what's your thoughts. Also, I heard a rumor that SAS is starting early this year, the date I heard is June 1st.
Hi Mary ! Well I didn't pick up this Apple , I didn't like this particular B&BW scent collection release ( Musk and Lavender either) but Beautiful Day is everything! I love this one ,I have it in my collection .I look foward to your honest and on point reviews ! Tfs ! 🍎👌🏽💯
My husband and boys love Juniper Breeze in the shower gel. Its a good scent. I passed.over Apple because of so much newness....it was kinda lost in the Everyday Luxuries excitement. But now I'm loving na interested.... Thank you Mary!
Country Apple is 100% different now than originally. That was my signature scent in the 90s, I wore her like CRAZY. I don't even recognize the current Country Apple though. No ma'am. They did her really dirty.
Apples are one of those fragrance notes that I love (alongside oranges, peaches, pineapples, and strawberries), but finding a good one that isn't, say, a shampoo, conditioner, or body wash is a tall order imho. I want a smell that's really fresh and bright, like a juicy green apple, but I always find ridiculously soft and subtle apple juices and apple blossoms, which are very pretty in their own right, but not what I want. I despise how the longevity of BaBW's mists just seems to be going further and further down. My beloved old bottle of Sweet Pea has such strong projection (one of the strongest scents I've ever owned tbh, can anything stop the power of pink florals?), and my newer bottle of Champagne Toast is pretty good, but I have Bodycology and Body Fantasies sprays that can last for hours and they're a good chunk less of the cost, sooo the question really becomes why I would spend more on a fleeting smell when I can find something else I like with better lasting power and a much better price point? Among the Clouds's projection. Need I say anything more? At this rate, they're really going to cause an extreme animosity and possibly even hatred for their products. You can see it in the reviews on the website and on places like Fragrantica, people are very unhappy that the rising prices don't match the quality of the product, and I'm not exactly impressed, either. It's really disappointing, especially 'cause this was one of those annual birthday trips to the mall that I would get so excited for, and now I don't think I can justify going so far just to get an expensive (ah yes, the dreaded "e" word, tell me that almost $20 isn't highway robbery) bottle of pretty-smelling alcoholic water that won't last.
I got mostly apple and rain, didn’t really notice strawberry. It gives me shampoo or shower vibes as well. It’s very clean and I enjoy it. Country Apple is absolute different from when it came out years ago and I do not enjoy the current version.
When I first sniffed it it smelled just like Beautiful Day and the strawberry scent in it was really light which was disappointing for me so I decided not to get it because I already have Beautiful Day🤷♀️😊
I sniffed this one in the store yesterday and I really liked it. I'll wait for a sale. $17 for a product that lasts less than an hour? No. $6? Ok. Thanks, Mary!
