Frontal hair systems or hairpieces are a great choice if you are just in the early stages of hair loss and just have a receding front hairline. They are significantly smaller than a regular hair system and are designed to be worn at the very front of the head.
In this video, Carlos introduces three ways you can have a frontal hairpiece from Lordhair. You can always cut up a regular stock hair system. This is what Carlos does and he cuts up our 0.03mm ultra-thin skin UTS stock hair system: www.lordhair.com/s22-stock-ul...

*Please note SuperSkin comes as just one piece despite what Carlos says
You can also discuss a custom-made base design with us like the large rectangular-shaped 0.03mm ultra-thin skin base, UTS-F, you see in this video: www.lordhair.com/ultra-thin-s.... This kind of design is just one example of what we can do.
Carlos cut up our UTS since the SuperSkin-F doesn’t match the size of his frontal recession. Please be aware that we don’t recommend cutting up every Lordhair stock hair system as not every part of the hair system is designed to be worn at the front of the head.

Just remember that with a customized hair system you can decide on every single feature of the hair system. So, you can have a poly base (different thicknesses) or a lace base with different hair densities, colors etc.

I’m 32 and my hair line started thinning a little bit a few years ago. I’ve been thinking about experimenting with a hairpiece like this for a few months now, and I think I will. I think I might even try a full wig with a natural hairline…not because I need it, but because I think it would be fun to start a collection and change my hair whenever I feel like it. No it’s not ventilated . It’s thin skin base . I think the only ventilated systems are the lace base .

My guess is you'd want adhesive and not tape. That way the front edge of the hair line is not raised from the thickness of the tape. Tape is good for the sides and back of a full size hair piece.

Glad you liked it, Justin! You can reuse the same hairpiece as long as you like. It's more a case of the lifespan of the actual hair system and that will vary depending on the design and also the habits of the wearer. Our stock hair systems are designed to last one to six months. As for tape or glue, then that depends, as like hair systems, some are designed to last longer than others but you can get over four weeks out of some kinds.

I have a receeded hairline but thick hair. I can even comb the my hair over my receeded hairline but obviously it doesnt stay and moves. Do you have a possible product which could hold my existing hair in place to cover my receeding hairline. Hope that make sense. Almost like a 2 inch gap triangle shape on both sides. The frontal hairpiece is also realistic enough for you to have a parting. As for the invisibility, that's just due to the nature of the material and how it looks once it's on your scalp.

Hi Tim - how often you clean and reapply it will depend on how physically active you are or how hot your climate is and on your own personal preferences. It could be once a week, for example. The hairpiece Carlos is wearing should last two to three months but as with any hairpiece, the lifespan is greatly influenced by the individual wearer.

People can wear their hair systems weeks at a time although how long will often depend on the wearer's lifestyle and the type of tape/glue they use. Tape or glue is often just down to personal preference but many prefer to use glue along the front hairline.

There are a lot of factors that make it very hard to give an exact answer as to how long a hair system will stay on but the fact is that hair system tape and glue can last for weeks at a time. You as an individual, however, may want to remove it and reattach it every week or two. Yes, you can shower as you normally would. You just may have to modify your showering habits such as being more delicate when washing your hair.

Hi John - the 'best' part of any regular stock hair system that is cut up will be the front as that section has a graduated front. In terms of 'single thread' then if you're talking about single knots then the UTS model is actually knotless since the hair is V-looped through the whole of the base. This ventilation method is what helps make it such a realistic hair system.

Carlos. I have a question. A lot of guys who do the hair thing, still look like bald guys with hair BECAUSE, the vertical side hairline of the bald guy is defining the look. The horizontal is just one third of the forehead. Is there a reason the vertical sides/ temporal areas don't ever seem to be restored to thier original pre hairloss coverage????

You can use tape or glue but glue is probably more practical with a frontal. We don't actually sell glue because of shipping restrictions so we suggest you buy it from your own country. We do stock tape though.

Not necessarily since lace and mono are woven materials with holes in them so lace and mono hair systems will not cover the scalp the way a poly hair system (like the ones you see in this video) does.

Hi Kalyan - you could certainly remove it every day. We couldn't tell you exactly how that would impact the lifespan because yes, it sounds like you wouldn't be sleeping in your hair system which would be a good thing but then you'd be handling the hairpiece so much more often given you'd be applying/removing tape on a daily basis.

Sorry John - it's a little hard to be sure which moment in the video you're referring to but the frontal Carlos applies (03:42) is one he cut up himself (and not our stock frontal which has a more pronounced shape). Carlos cut it in a way to suit the hairline he wanted. You're right that the 'point of the V' should go at the front. Hope this helps!

@@Lordhair yes it helps. Thanks fir clarifying. I wish he pointed out that he has cut the v shape to a straight line shape. Because normally you glue it on the front while the hair is dangling in front of the face and then flip it over. But Carlos doesn't do that.

Hi there can I ask a question? It seems he uses glue or adhesive on his forehead and attach the entire hair piece of top of his current hair. Is that correct? It would be perfect if this is the case

Hi! Carlos doesn't actually stick anything over his existing hair. The glue was just applied at the top of his forehead as you said. However, the hair of the hair system is long so it blends in with his own hair when he brushes it back.

Glad you like it Giovanni! Carlos actually wears neither! What you see him wearing is a frontal piece that he has cut out himself from our stock UTS model because the two sizes of our stock SuperSkin-F frontal don't match his hair loss area.
