Hey guys, this year I had the privilege of attending the Yale Young Global Scholars program which is one of the leading summer programs for high school students.
With applications now out, I have received a couple of requests to talk more about the process of applying. So in this video, I went through the application process step by step to provide an objective framework on what to do! @@cherryarora I got accepted into YYGS early action! I'm super excited to be part of this. However, I have a concern I wasn't placed in my first nor second choice, instead I was placed in my 3rd and I'm worried that it may affect how I'll enjoy the program Is it possible that I email them for a reconsideration?

Hi! From my understanding, applications submitted after the regular decision deadline (Jan 10th) will not be accepted, however any submitted before then are fine! If you need an extension, you could email the YYGS organisers. Hope that helps :)

Forgot to mentions, but your application won’t be too affected based on whether you submit your application in the early action or regular decision round.

Hello sorry I have a problem with application proccess that is I wanna get fee waiver but before get it I have to fill out finacial stage but I have not financial stage .

Hi, thank you for your comment! As I did not apply for a fee waiver, I’m not 100% sure so I would recommend emailing the YYGS team directly. Hope that helps :)

Sorry, For wasting your precious time but, this will be my last request. If possible would you send me your YYGS Answers, I mean answers to general questions in the application? I'm asking for them, not to plagiarism but to get a general idea about what it really needs. Since you got selected so it will be helpful. I have received similar comments so I am currently working on a video where I share everything I submitted in my application (essays, recommendations, awards, extracurriculars, etc.).
