My daughter keeps having BRUE events. She had two within being 16 hours old. She also had two today, and one this last Monday. We’re devastated. We haven’t received a good answer from anyone.

So it cannot be BRUE if the child’s episode lasts 5 minutes? When I picked him up from crib, he was limp as if he was dead! He was crying hysterically but not all there. It happened 4 times total, within about 2 months time. 6m-8m. He’s 8 now and very healthy. No explanation. But I suppose it wasn’t a BRUE either?

i suppose the event doesn't have to be shorter than a minute to be classified as brue, since it is one of the criteria for a low risk patient? according to this definition, any event longer than a minute cannot be diagnosed as a "high risk brue" anyway.
