This is Michael Peace’s approach for a calm and reassuring outcome. Napping often starts with a spook or fear which can easily escalate to rearing or backing up if push forward with out empathy to help the horse understand and accept the rider it there to help. With Michael Peace the horse starts to see the rider as someone they can refer to not try to eliminate.
