DUDE!!! i'm 16 years old and gonna get a 2024 jetta GLI in 2027 and already planning the mods that i'm going to do to it and dude your channel is literally perfect. Keep it up dude.
Sign of the times. I just bought a 2024 VW Jetta GLI 40th Anniversary edition (with the full package). Bought it at cost price as a thank you from VW for launching a new VW Dealership (I did all the IT). I've never had this much fun driving a car. I was just looking for a cheap car for every day work but this thing makes the morning commute fun. The acceleration is surprisingly good for a 4 cylinder engine. I bought the DSG model and the automatic shifting is very clean for such an inexpensive car. There's a bit of turbo lag but it's not half bad. The one thing I did was change the tires as the stock tires would screech at every red light. Same color as yours with the red accents. It's a nice grey. Even without the stock price, it's relatively inexpensive but delivers "fun".
That’s awesome! It sounds like we share similar opinions on the GLI! I really want to compare a 2024 model to the 2019 model to see how different they are. I’m glad you are enjoying yours!
@@RR2SS Awesome! I hope you love it! Thursday I’m posting a video about an exhaust I put on a couple of days ago you should check it out. But I appreciate you!
@@Ian_Richardson oh okk bet will do, and ofc I gotcu I'm enjoying the car it's awesome a great first time sporty car I want a camaro in the future so getting the practice in lol.
@@RR2SS I love Camaros as well but Volkswagen has grown on me a ton. I think I want the Golf R after this build. One of my videos is going to be a ride along in a 1000 HP ZL1. Stay tuned for that.
@@Ian_Richardson haha nice I alway wanted a camaro because of transformers like most people but I give volkswagen credit for making a fun sporty car and the golf R looks nice too. I'll definitely keep an eye out for the zl1 video.
@@kennethclore6400 Awesome! I’m glad you enjoyed it! I would definitely recommend an intake. It’s a relatively cheap modification that is easy to install and it definitely makes the car more fun!
@@209emron that’s awesome I wish I would have held out for a 35th! I believe you do need to get the SAI filter (small filter). They are rather cheap. I believe I got mine for 29.99. It just ensures that nothing gets into the pipe you disconnect from the OEM intake!
@@209emron I did not get the Maf adapter with mine and I have had no issues. I don’t see why you would need one. If it comes with it great but I did not install one.
This specific intake will not work. HoweverAPR makes an almost identical one for the Sport model! When you go to buy just check the fitment description of the product!
@@christiansalazar7276 Awesome! I had the CTS intake on my last car and I loved it! To be honest I bought the car with the ecs spacer on it. I would imagine it doesn’t affect volume level too much but I do feel without it there would be a decrease in turbo flutter and there would be more of a woosh noise! Hope that makes sense!
How do you like integrated engineering? I’ve been leaning toward APR but am open to hearing about Integrated. I also put my cat back on yesterday which will be next week’s video. It helped a little bit.
