I love my Florida prince also and have a May Pride. I’ve unfortunately ended up with small fruit and broken branches. I just had back surgery and wasn’t able to thin them out. They’re still tasty though.

Glad they are still tasty and hope you're recovering well!

My green grapes have a bunch of nats in the soil and plenty of little worms eating up all the leaves. Both are in full sun.

Look back through my channel, I have videos on how to care for grapes and get rid of those worms eating your leaves.

Love your channel, growing in AZ is a different experience! We have 2 apple trees, a Dorsett and a Gala(just planted last fall). As of today the Gala hasn't even fully leafed out, the Dorsett woke up and flowered(still hasn't ever set fruit) in February. So obviously these are going to be helpful pollinators for each other. Any suggestions on a different variety to add in?

I had a Desert Gold Peach tree that I didn't thin enough and we got monsoon winds and it broke 3 large branches off the tree. I was so sad 😢

great space! where did you get your mango trees in phoenix? I am looking for one to add to my backyard

I usually get all my mangos from Greenlife (Shamus Oleary). He always has a great selection. I've also began to grow my own from seed (I have a whole series here on my channel that talks about it) as I've found that they are the most hardy.

Hey Michael. What kind of avocado do you have? Grafted? I have a Fuerte going on 4th or 5th summer. Only about 5 ft tall, but very bushy and looks really healthy. Super curious when it'll decide to fruit. Appreciate seeing all your nice trees!

Mine is a Fuerte and Hass. Mine gets flowers, but no fruit yet!

@@TheGardenNerd I tried grafting a Lamb Hass on this spring, but doesn't look like it took. Will have to try another time.

My peaches are just now turning colors. Is that bad? I planted the peach tree 2 years ago. And I planted it too deep. Maybe it will grow taller soon.
@TheGardenNerd
@TheGardenNerd Год назад
Nope, not bad. They'll be ripe when they are ready!

How far apart did you plant your fruit trees from one another?
@TheGardenNerd
@TheGardenNerd Год назад
I go close. I have no problem planting as close as 5 feet away from each other. The plants love it and seem to thrive!

@The Garden Nerd thanks! I don't have a huge yard. I've got an apple and a plum tree, but I want to plant peach... not sure about others.
