Good luck with your move.......I am amazed you got any stitching done. I will have withdrawals. I discovered you in December, and have been addicted and wait each week for your videos.....I guess I need to go look at your archives, so I won't suffer too much...ha, ha. ENJOY your new digs. And give yourself some grace. By the way, the space will fill quickly, so don't be in a rush to get stuff, unless it is needed.

So exciting that the move is coming up so quickly. Praying it all goes smoothly for you, your boys & the cats. It's interesting hearing about what is included in your houses. In Australia it would be rare for oven, stove and cabinets not to be included (and dishwasher if it has one - most newer houses have them here but older ones may not). Microwave would only be included if it's built in but we don't have them integrated into the range hood. Fridge/freezer would also only be included if it's built in (eg if it's plumbed because it has ice making in it - not all that common here). Washing machine and dryer are only very occasionally included (in fact many Aussies don't have a dryer, except in apartments, but there will nearly always be an outside washing line, and that is built in so it's included). I also do most of my stitching on weekends but it's Saturday today and I was busy all morning and by the time that was done I had a migraine. My husband came home from walking the dog and commented that I must be feeling bad because I wasn't stitching or even watching flosstube! Looking forward to seeing you from the new house - maybe even from the craft room! Just heard your comment about Pattern Keeper not sorting alphabetically - so excited by the new release of Markup (I have an ipad so PK doesn't work) - you can now sort it all by whatever way you like.
Hope the move goes smoothly. I moved last year to a much quieter area, away from my noisy neighbours. It’s the best thing I’ve done. I am so much more relaxed and I sleep better! When neighbours are noisy it is so frustrating as you have nowhere to go to get away from it. Looking forward to seeing you in your new place xx
Wow... The last episode at the old apartment! Happy moving! Can't wait to see your new place and your new stitchy room! You should get yourself a nice setup for filming in there and slap some of those 2023 finishes on the wall behind you!
Wishing you all the best with your move!!! The last move I did was like how you described - from a small place to a big place and got rid of a lot of old stuff too. One of the things that took me months to adjust to was having storage I was so used to having things all crammed into dressers or in piles it was just habit and suddenly I realised why the heck am I not using the built in cupboards and wardrobes?! Things got so much more tidier and put together after that lol.
I’m so happy for you! Having done many moves with professional movers, here’s my tips. Take over kitchen essential box and bedroom/bath essential box and in this case, your essential stitching. Have every dogone thing packed in boxes/bins ready to load. Movers go at lightening speed and you want to also protect yourself and your possessions. If you have a male friend, brother, cousin you trust, it’s wise to have a 2nd person with you while movers do their job. Otherwise, your stuff will be loaded in less than 2 hours.
Good luck with your move. I helped my son start to pack up his apartment this weekend and since he's moving closer to us took a load in my car home today to move into the new apartment Monday. He's not hiring movers so we're moving it by the car load.

I was in 4th grade when my parents bought their house. The day they got the keys we "celebrated" by having a picnic on the floor in the new dining room. There was no furniture, it was just blankets and takeout, but it's a memory that has stuck with me for 35 years! Good luck with the move and have fun shopping to fill all your extra space!
To add for any non US watchers that may be interested. I’ve rented an apartment that did not include microwave. Had to bring my own. Otherwise it was as Jen said. Also there is something called a (laundromat here in the US. Not sure if that’s a thing else where. Sometimes it’s a seperate building entirely. For those renting homes and not wanting to purchase washer and dryer. But some apartment communities have it like in the basement of the building you live in or again a seperate building but on the same property as all the apartment buildings that you go to and it will have nothing but washer and dryers for you to put change in to use to wash your clothes and dry them. Hope someone found that interesting or useful. I make it a point to look for places with washer and dryer in unit after having to use a laundry mat in the basement of my college dorm in my college years
