This project works great with 20, 18, or even 16ga as the core wires and 24, 26, or 28ga for the weaving wires.

Mini crockpots are good for your pickling solution for smaller projects. Copper pickling tweezers are key in retrieving those items in it.

Awesome, finally got through the whole thing once. I always watch once before doing a project, just like reading a whole knitting pattern before casting on. Let's see how long it takes me to make one now, ha! Thank as always for the great tutorial.

I Love this Tutorial for the Owl, i prefered the smaller one that you were working on first, this is a lovely piece, iam looking forward to making one, i think its awesome and it looks so great, it has wonderful, detailing, so clever, how you added the eyes, using Spirals and i really liked how you created the head the nose or should i say beak, and the pointed shapes on top of the head, so marvelous, i really love your tutorials, your one of the best creators on youtube, and your videos, are filled with quality information. we are so lucky to have you Eyvonne. The glass owl beads, everyone seems to like, all I could see was the Uud from dr.who. So I turned the owl upside down and gave him a white bead. I could also see an octopus or squid. I love the personality you give to your peices

yvonne, I just love, love your owl. Even with all the alterations it is prettier than the model. I will watch this agsin and try to make it. I think even a real owl would be impressed. Thank you for sharing. I know you didnt like the spirals but they made it look animated; not reality whimsical.

At the point I am into the video 2:22:48, I am loving this owl so much more than the first owl. I try to watch videos before I try to create anything. I cant wait until you finish this one. It is amazing how you made the 28 gauge wire work instead of the 26 and the way you did it turned out better than the 26 version anyway. You certainly have a gift.

So Cute❤, Love the oopsie fix, the wrapped wires really finish the eyes! I find that to make the spirals rounder instead of oval or ?, on that first little circle just snip about 1 mil off the end and re-form into a circle. Normally, the following spirals should follow that sphere form. P.S. I would have liked to see the torched balls for the eyes👀😻. Please take care of those hands, or you may suffer more when you're a 'crone' like me😂(67).❤ After all, they're your professional tool.
