But they do use some really high quality lamb horse and cow leathers along with the sterling silver accents they put on a lot of their clothing. Again the cost of silver is minuscule in comparison to what these clothes retail for. What you’re paying for is quality well made low production pieces with high end materials. Is it worth it? That’s for the buyer to decide. Imo chrome hearts is a quality brand even though their screen printed shirts and hoodies are pretty meh and high priced for pretty basic garments their real bread and butter is their jewelry. Another commenter I think said it best. The hoodies and t’s and hats are literally just the merch they make for their jewelry/leather business. They’re currently riding the hype wave as kids bailed on supreme and off white now are buying up chrome hearts as fast as they can and as a buyer that is a good thing because your $600 hoodie or t shirt from the store can be flipped in 48 hours online for a $100-400 profit. So is it the absolute best if the best? Not imo but it does hold its value very very well. They’re not doing anything different than Balenciaga or margiela in fact I’d say chrome does better at not mass producing their stuff and keeping items limited. If I were going to spend $800 on margiela, Balenciaga, or chrome, I’d spend it on chrome because it’ll be worth more if/when I choose to sell it so it makes for a better investment. If you walk into a store in New York it’ll have completely different stock and size availability than a store in La or Japan etc. and they have essentially no online web shop since most the high demand stuff will never get sold by chrome hearts online. I’m surprised they even went forward with dropping these hoodies online as they’ve always said they didn’t want to do it but maybe they’re testing the waters. The bubble will burst eventually on these hoodies and t’s but the core of chrome hearts being their leather and jewelers will remain popular as it has been since the 90’s
@atomicsub - here is the thing. When looking at any Luxury brand items, "value" is not really relevant. Sure, people can try to justify but objectively and monetarily speaking, you are paying 90% margin for pretty much all luxury goods. CH Is no different. Especially on hoodies and tees. Quality sucks. And no, they are not made of any special materials.

Yep CH stores should carry some inventory of rings and other items for sale. Just keep an open mind about what you may find at the store when you visit and have fun! Buying directly from CH is the best way to buy Chrome Hearts goods. So many fakes are sold as real on the Internet and secondary markets. Be careful out there!
