The flowers are slowing down as the weather cools in Autumn. Join me for a garden tour where we discuss what has been successful during summer and what changes are proposed for season Two.
My name is Jaclyn and I am a first year flower farmer and you-tube novice! I hope you are enjoying my videos on flower farming, gardening and country life in rural NSW.
Don’t forget to like and subscribe! I appreciate your support 🥰
My garden is located in Central West NSW Australia in the USA hardiness zone equivalent of zone 8a/b. Join me to explore my existing homestead garden and come along for my journey where I learn about developing my cut flower farm, growing cut flowers, vegetables and homesteading in rural Australia.

Thank you. It’s been fun growing things I wouldn’t normally think about growing in my house garden. I’m definitely going to take cuttings of the Chrysanthemums and put them into the garden to enjoy!

I just found your channel! It´s interesting to see what you can grow in your climate. I´m a first year flower farmer in Sweden.

Our climate is not overly extreme when it comes to minimum and maximum temperature, however our dry climate creates the biggest challenge. The best thing I have done is to try lots of different plants, so I can see what works best. Thankyou for watching!

So good to see your garden plans progressing, i have White Mugwort seedlings doing well, and a few others from your previous tours. I appreciate the time you take to share your journey, thank you. I’m in the Riverina just starting out, trialling many things as well.

Hi! So glad to hear you are trialing things like me. It’s really the only way to see what you like or dislike. Many flower farms use the same plants so I find people appreciate something different in their bouquet. Mugwort was a real surprise for me. Thanks for watching.

It’s hard to know if my videos are of interest to anyone else, so I appreciate your comments. I have learned a lot from the flower farming. I am an avid gardener but this process is different. Finding outlets at first is daunting. But as people get to know your product they will come asking for your bouquets. Do you have an instagram or Facebook account?

I love this video! Thankyou for sharing ❤💐 Wow your in Oberon, I'm from Springwood 😄 I'm in Castle Hill now and doing what your doing! What avenues have been effective for you to sell your flowers? Nina 🌈🌾

Share your flowers and your setup on social media, especially local groups. Talk to coffee shops about selling on consignment. I also do farmers markets which are a fair bit of work but I now have a loyal following and it doesn’t take long for people to appreciate your flowers. You will have a bigger customer base than me, so you are already in a good position! I used to work in Castle Hill for the Council…. About 25 years ago 😊 I bet it has changed a lot since then.
