IMHO the first guitarist completely ruins the atmosphere of the song... He is too loud and completely out of context. The orchestra on the other hand is magnificent.... The singer is very good and the second guitarist with the strat is up to the point complementing the song as necessary. Very good effort.

hey - the lead guitar player should have paid more respect to the original notes of the composition - and not ruin its part by pumpin' the volume... - all the rest is great!

What is the logic of using an overly distorted guitar and occasional sustained notes (via intentional feedback) in the intro section? Some songs beggingly call for a true strat sound throughout and this is one prime example. Moreover the acoustic guitar tone is weak, lacks body and projection. Orchestral work, on the other hand, is spot on. A wasted opportunity considering the overall talent of the participating musicians. The song itself is a masterpiece.
